I was wondering if you would help me out with something, and if you don't want to, I understand......I just have a dilemma I don't know what do do with....
A few weeks ago we went to the rock shop.....looking for new stuff to cab up.....dug in the Chrysocolla bin, found a nice chunk or 2, brought them home, and when I was cutting it, I thought, man this stuff is kinda hard for Chrysocolla....and the color inside was amazing.....I finished cutting, and came in here to look online at Chrysocolla, cuz I had never seen anything like this. Found some in an Etsy shop that looked just like what I have....only thing is the cabs were in the THOUSANDS of dollars......WHAT??!!! So I sent a message to this person, pictures, etc etc etc of what I had....This person tells me that it is in fact the same stuff, and I should charge 20.00 per carat for the cabs....ok.....umm...shock....
One of my regular cab cust. got a small one, she takes it to a show, where the gem/mineral society is set up, they tell her that it is not the same stuff and not worth what I told her it was......not that she paid what it was worth by any means at all, as I sold it before I knew what I had....
After she tells me this, I sent yet another message over to the etsy seller, who again insists thats what it is.
I know the owner of the rock shop spends a lotta money down at Quartzite every year buying rock.....so a lot of his rock comes from Arizona
I dont wanna be selling something for an outrageous price like that if its not worth it, ya know? I worry about charging too much for these.....I never want anyone to say that I have ripped them off in any way.....
Can you look at them, or do you know anything about this stuff, and tell me if I am doing the right thing?
Here is the link to my cab shop

anything you can tell me would be appreciated greatly
thanks in advance
Marie
