That's not a heart, it's a cartoon guy with a big smile. He's winking. Small nose. It reminds me of a specific character, maybe someone from Mad Magazine.

That's not a heart, it's a cartoon guy with a big smile. He's winking. Small nose. It reminds me of a specific character, maybe someone from Mad Magazine. I see this character. Wished he was not missing his left eye brow. Mad Magazine, that one was a trip. I like the plugs that were left laying after a bullet passed thru. Our Mothers should have banned us from that magazine. Too funny.

At that time it was interpreted as humor. But it was pleasantly very perverse. My cousin is 64 and collected every edition for many years.
