What a bunch of stupid effing @-holes. Who the *(%$@*& thinks it's a good idea to bring ebola patients to the USA??There are likely thousands of US citizens whom will fit this description. But we only transport the most flippin' dangerous ones there are. And the hubris of US politicians think we can do better? The quote "the virus is moving over porous borders, by plane" is prescient. It's convenient, we got more planes!! AND Atlanta is a very very busy hub for international and domestic air travel. Awesome!!! Are you ready to be quarantined, even if you are not sick? Well people will still be quarantined. Truthfully, I am not so much worried about the facilities and personal in place at the destination hospital. If one were really wanted to cause problems all they need do is hijack the patients en route from the airport to the hospital. Failing that or a plane crash, we may get lucky. Let me close by saying: Nancy Writebol and Dr. Kent Brantly, it saddens me to think your good intentions ended with moribund illness. Deeply saddened that two courageous health care workers are afflicted. Saddened to think you may die and others will be scared from following your chivalrous path. Your fearless actions will leave your families and loved ones proud to have been a part of your life. Thank you for all you have done for the people of this world. I hope you survive. I wish our government wasn't using you as pawns in whatever game they are playing. If you survive the world will be a better place. Still the actions of our government are foolhardy at the very best. Folks there is NO CURE. The "treatment" is "supportive care". I'll concede that supportive care may be better in north America. I do not think the minor incremental increase in this care is worth endangering millions of US citizens with similar affliction.

God only knows what diseases the migrant kids have brought into the United States! I also read where they were infested with scabies, head lice and other assorted vermin and were transported in planes and buses used by the general public. No way in Hades were all those vehicles decontaminated properly after unloading the illegal infiltrators...er...sorry...migrant kids

Worldwide Ebola deaths, 1976 – 2013: 1548
IOW, 38 years of Ebola ≈ 3 weeks of Gaza.
1989 - Ebola-Reston virus was introduced into quarantine facilities in Virginia and Pennsylvania by monkeys imported from the Philippines.
1990 - Ebola-Reston virus was introduced once again into quarantine facilities in Virginia, and Texas by monkeys imported from the Philippines. Four humans developed antibodies but did not get sick.
1996 - Ebola-Reston virus was introduced into a quarantine facility in Texas by monkeys imported from the Philippines. No human infections were identified.

Man, I'm with you on this! O Reily has some dumbass blond doctor on his show the other night and asked her if Ebola was easy to transmit and she said, No and proceeded to explain how it must be transmitted by bodily fluids like feces, vomit, blood , saliva etc. I'm sitting there thinking, "Look you brainless dumbass , you ever had some jerk sneeze on you or cough on you. WTF do you think saliva is anyway? Its the wet stuff someone sneezes into your face." That seems pretty darn easy to transmit to me and in addition it survives for awhile on surfaces. Imagine one guy sneezing saliva all over a dang airport. They also announced they are bringing home a couple hundred peace core folks a few of whom have been exposed. Ain't that just peachy!
These jerks remind me of the science jerks in the movie Jurassic Park. Remember when the Jeff Goldblum character was explaining chaos theory? Basically nature will find a way to fool you every time and whatever can go wrong will go wrong, In short SH*T happens. So lets just put folks carrying one of the world's most deadly diseases on a plane and help it spread right into the good ole US. Remember it just made the new that some guy in charge of a bunch of nasty diseases had to quit his job due to lack of caution and containment.
Radio: Not migrants or refugees....invaders. Call them what they are. ....Mel
PS: leave it to bleeding heart lib parfive to bring Gaza into this but regarding Gaza, I totally side with the Israelis. I can see where they would go by the old rabid stinky skunk analogy. Skunks are cute little things, we have babies all over the yard and enjoy them thoroughly. We know they have a high incidence of rabies here in Texas and we know when they get older they are prone to spray stink on you and your dogs. Most Texans, out of long habit, kill them on sight to eliminate these two unpleasant possibilities. We enjoy them and don't have a dog to get skunked so we so take our chances and let them live but I respect my neighbors right to not do so and understand their desire to kill them.
Rabid Muslims live to kill or harm those that do not follow their beliefs, most especially Israelis. Sure, they are cute when they are little, but put them in a rabid Muslim school and they grow up to live to kill. Folks like ole Rich think, well, it ain't me being killed so let them live, let a high percentage become rabid and want to kill, long as it ain't me. I respect the right of folks who want to defend themselves against any folks who want to kill them and if the bad guys' young or women, who they plainly don't see as anything but cannon fodder and political tools/martyrs get killed that's on them, not the folks defending themselves from their rabid behavior.

Obamacare = Ebolacare Epitome of efficient spending. As if the healthcare industry is not tearing this country up already. This one is a real morale booster. So how much money did this stunt cost ?

There are over 75 FEMA camps strung out through the USA and a lot of them are being filled up with these illegal children from other countries... The sickness is going to spread and our government could care less....

The sickness is going to spread and our government could care less.... What a perfect way for a deranged terrorist to cause chaos on American soil! Send a bunch of "Innocent immigrant children" infected with God knows what across our borders and let the diseases start incubating and spreading. If we allow them on our soil, they should ALL be quarantined, treated and then deported. Yes, America has always welcomed Immigrants and folks keep pointing to this as a precedent. Anyone remember seeing movies of the immigrants coming through Ellis Island? They were kissing American soil and doing their Damnedest to fit in to America, not force America to cater to their religions, customs and ways of life. They worked their asses off, learned English, became citizens and productive members of society, not freeloaders bankrupting the American taxpayer! I'm off my rant now, please carry on

Border patrol agents say only a small percentage of these new invaders are "innocent children". The rest are adults including criminals and gangbangers and even have Russian mafia connections. They are essentially a fifth column invasion of our country that is being shielded by a smoke screen of children to befuddle the dumbass libs and dupe them into thinking this is a humanitarian crisis. Note: duping Democrat politicians is not difficult as most are barely functioning idiots anyway. Even the kids are a risk as they do carry diseases and will be going to school with your kids and spreading disease and degrading the educational system. Of course I suppose producing stupid children plays right into the Dumbocrats hands as they will not be able to find jobs, go on the dole and vote Democrat *L*.
This is called asymmetrical warfare and Obama and the Dems are playing right along with it by letting a fifth column infiltrate our country and overload our schools, hospitals, taxpayer funds for welfare etc etc and increase domestic crime. And, eventually the country will be bankrupt (Hell we already are) and brought to it's knees without a shot being fired while our dumbass POTUS plays golf and parties with his Hollyweird bros....Mel

Lord, I don't even want to start mine! Aww, c'mon! It's Saturday, so you have plenty of time to bring the blood pressure back down before the work week starts Funny thing is - I wrote that and the proceeded to type out a rant!!! LOL! I then erased it. I think y'all have it covered. But, I will add this- I don't have any ill will towards the individual decent people coming to make a better life for themselves. THEY WERE INVITED! I hold ill will towards this rotten administration that has yet again thumbed it's nose at us. I feel a little schizo because I feel for a lot of these people and at the same time wish they hadn't come. Though, if I were them, I probably would have come too after being invited. Makes my head spin. My area only recently has had an influx of immigrants from South and Central America. I live in a rather poor neighborhood, which I love, btw, and they have moved in and IMPROVED the neighborhood. The ones I have been acquainted with are hard working, family people. Of course, I am not generalizing and saying they all are, but some are. So, I find it really hard to be angry with people who only want what is best for their families. As to gangbangers and such- may they meet lead.

*LOL* I'm still trying to wrap my head around " an hours old sneeze*. Most times I've been sneezed on by some ass who don't know how to use a snotrag it didn't take hours to land in my face *L*. A sneeze with more hang time than a basketball player would be extra dangerous *L*. I love it when folks say something is {weaker than a flue virus) That's like saying a 9mm is weaker than a 45ACP. Both can still kill and the Ebola survival rate is much lower than that of the flu.
Ebola is transmitted by bodily fluids period. Tests have found it in tears, saliva, blood, feces, vomit etc. Last time some jerk sneezed on me, gee, I felt " bodily fluid=spit" on my face, Ebola does survive awhile on surfaces and skin. How often do folks get in a taxi someone had just got out of. It spread that way in Africa already.
Ask yourself, the CDC is in charge of this. The government never screws up right? *L* After all they protect our borders so well and there was just a big shot at the US Government Infectious Disease Lab resigned due to mishandling of at least four shipments of deadly diseases including anthrax. Sure I trust them not to screw up. Oh wait, no I don't!. This friggin government is incapable of doing anything right and remember Sh*t happens way more often when government is involved.
Hopefully Ken, you will hide at home on voting day. I'm pretty darn tired of your gulldanged liberal conspiracy and I won't be hiding on voting day.....Mel
PS: I lived in a very nice neighborhood back in Commefornia. Illegals moved in as did crackhouses, pitbulls and meth labs. Had a drive by where they shot a guy and ran over him a block from my home. A meth lab across my back fence. Illegals on stolen bikes riding through the neighborhood in broad daylight while folks were at work doing break ins. ER's were all going bankrupt and schools were overcrowded. One of the main reasons why we moved to Texas. I did know a lot of good folks when I worked for the AG dept that we decent hardworking people. However, not all are good folks with good intentions.

I just thought that the tone of this thread was on the alarmist side. It seems far fetched that terrorists would be sending infected people our way.
I don't vote for one party only. In the next election for governor here in Illinois I will likely go with the Republican candidate. The Democratic incumbent has been a miserable leader. If Hillary is the next Democratic nominee I wouldn't go for her either. Not because she is a she, but because I question her credibility and ethics.

Pay-back works both ways, mofo The best available evidence shows that syphilis originated in the New World and was transmitted to Europe. So the red man has counted coup on the white man twice, first with syphilis and second with Indian casinos.
"Absence of skeletal evidence of any treponemal disease in continental Europe before the time of Columbus excludes it as site of origin of syphilis. Treponemal disease appears to have originated in East Africa with late transmission to England, perhaps as a complication of the slave trade. The original treponemal disease apparently spread from Africa through Asia, entering North America. Approximately 8 millennia later, it mutated to syphilis. Presence of skeletal evidence of syphilis at the site in the Dominican Republic where Columbus landed suggests the route by which it was transmitted to the Old World."

Mel, it's formally called the Cloward-Piven strategy. It was designed by a couple of radical professors to overload the country's systems and is doing a great job of it under the expert baton of Maestro Obama, who fiddles while America burns.
