Damn Randy that looks like some awesome material. Wish I could have come and collected and met everyone. Don't guess I even know where you are, Grant. Nonetheless, you missed a great chance to get some nice material and meet some of the gang. Hey Randy, I'm in St. Louis, not sure where this was exactly My main issue is getting off of work. With what I do I have to plan time off far in advance; and convince the wife to watch the kiddos while I pick rocks. I haven't tried that yet

If we do go back for Thanksgiving, we will certainly visit a certain well loved member. Shhhh.... don't tell spiceman we wanna go see him! Shout out to Mr & Mrs fantastic5 who helped fill a box and pay postage for a box of Mrs Nethers Flint for Dale's tumbler. When I get that box of flint I'm sure I be more than happy. Thank you very much and God loves you all. I can still smile.

Cutting some of the blocks my DH beat out of the pit at Nethers. Really excited by this first cut! Next one looks to be nicer.

Not so much for rock hounding, but when prospecting, I've had to start putting tools away to get my husband to quit for the day.

inbtb Those turned our really nice Les. I'm continually amazed at the variation in color and pattern from this material. And this stuff takes such an amazing shine. I didn't realize that flint could be so beautiful!

Thanks. They are a lot shinier in person. Photos taken with indoor lighting and flash.

Hi Randy. I have been tumbling some and it seems every batch I finish has a piece or 2 in it. Have not had a chance to cut anymore, but some day soon.
