Hi Jack, Hi Jeannine ... nice to meet you! Wow that is a pile of pet wood, didn't you take any of it at all? Couldn't you ship some of it back home? Looks like it has some pretty colors in it too.

close, our other farm was in butler, which is closer to new castle and pittsburgh (other side o the family) its so far awayfrom anywhere it used to be over an hour drive to the iga and 45 min to the nearest convieniencce store, but thanks to the interstate we got us a (I dont usually type like that) gas station / mini truck stop only 25 min away

Ahh But it is beautiful country there- I love PA- the wife and I spend at least a weekend there every year! googled kennerdale and man that is the middle of nowhere! I don't think I've ever been there. But it is only about 2.5 Hours from me- I can do Pittsburg in 4 hours but I usually limit my trips to the northwest.

I told ya it was midd of nowhere, 450 acres of absolute nothingness,, LOL but ya can at least get lost and enjoy nature, untill the bears/ deer fox/ coyote / hawk / eagle / come for ya,,, LOL but years ago my mom used to follow the plough and collect shoeboxes of arrowheads/ beads/ bits o pottery etc, theres some pet wood but not so much, fossil fern adn lots of coal fossil which is so hard to preserve if and when you find it (crumbles like ash)
now im in central florida (thank god for a/c ) where we have smog, bad drivers, and so much packed so close its unreal (st pete) I sneeze and the neighbor says bless you.

Wiz, what a lovely couple you two are! And what fun you are obviously having on that cruise Thanks for sharing! OOOCHEE M/Andy! That's gotta hurt. Looks like it's healing up well though. I broke the 4th metacarpal in my left hand years ago, and now I'm missing a knuckle and my ring finger is 1/4 inch shorter than it should be. But, Will we ever know what really happened to your hand? Where's the light house you are pictured with? cookie

OMG. I can't believe this. I also had a broken hand. 5 years ago, almost to the date. I broke the index and middle fingers of my left hand, the first bone next to the hand, and had soft tissue damage to the rest of them. I can't close the hand and it is an absolute miracle that I got back as much function as I did. 5 days a week physical therapy for about 4 months.
