I got this new tumbler it's a vibrating one but it won't stay sealed the lid keeps popping off. Does anyone have any advise on how to tighten it enough that it does not pop open or leak. Please help.

Hey kittykatkane, I have a LOT-O Tumbler that has the same issue. I have a bungee cord that I tie around the base of the block it sits on and wraps around to the top of the lid. I've seen others use multiple of those longer rubberbands tied together to reach all the way round. What tumbler do you have?

I am prepared for my Lot O, when it is brought inside soon. Have the stock lid for it and some bungie cords. I also have many zip ties, so am thinking about just using those if the bungie cords do not work.

I use rubber bands. Hook it on the knob on the bottom, over the top and fasten on the knob again. No more “pop offs”

The tumbler I have is called pro-pount vibratory tumbler I wish I could add a picture here haha Here's a link to the Cloudinary Tutorial for uploading pictures. Takes a little while to get through the process, but if you follow each step exactly you'll be uploading photos in no time. It only takes seconds once you have Cloudinary configured.

Are you sure that one is meant for wet tumbling? How much water are you putting in it??

Yeah, there's your problem.
Could potentially redneck engineer something with silicone/rubber washers but no guarantee it would work.

Get an 8 by 10 piece of foam sheet at the Dollar store and trace around the lid to make a water proof gasket. A star lock nut under the thumb screw on top will keep the wing nut secure !

#1 is begging for someone to redneck re-engineer it to make it work.

The more they over-think the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the toilet.

Eh, as much as I love a good Redneck Engineering project, my vote is for kittykatkane to return it and get one for wet tumbling.
