I use Zam when I can't get a decent shine with my regular polishing system (mine is diamond but it could be Cerium Oxide, Tin Oxide, Aluminum Oxide, etc.) Usually with softer stones like Ed said.

Maybe try using some Zam after the Opticon (or 330.)

For somebody like me who has a mobile lifestyle and has to put everything away, I tend to group my projects while I have the equipment out, so I might have a few different entries at a time. While it's not the end of the world to hold entries off until subsequent months, it might be nice to be able to enter two or three while they are fresh in my mind. I'm thinking there might be others that might like to work up a couple entries while they got the cabber warmed up. Just my input. Jo

Wow, how cool to see a virtual cab turn into reality, especially one with that shape and composition. Just stunning. Great shine too, and I'm pretty sure that material doesn't take a shine like that easily.
BTW, Daniel I received my package and love my slab. Thank you so much for being so generous. I won't get to it right away but I will work my slab as soon as I can and will certainly post my results here.

Hey there Dan! Thanks for this. I was kinda frustrated not being able to find pics of your crosses for the Anniversary thread. I remember these beautiful pieces, great to see them again. We loves ya. Jo

Thanks Ladies.
Just a quick note that I think is relevant here:
With the upcoming Proboards upgrades, and the ability to upload pics directly to the forum, members might be inclined to close their Photobucket accounts... the result is that alot of the older threads will lose their pictures and RTH will lose some valuable history. Just want to mention it, so that maybe we could just keep our photo storage accounts up and running to keep the old stuff intact for future members who want to look back and learn from them.
