Dang Dave, that's good. It's taken me most of my life to learn this and I'm thankful it's late instead of never.

RWA3006 Randy, do you plan to offer slabs, too, for us saw challenged people? Tela, I have some in inventory but my saws are shut down now for the winter. If you have anything specific that you need let me know and I'll check. I have them stacked in 55 gallon steel drums out under the snow at the moment but when the weather clears in several weeks I could do some serious digging.

Patty, you're welcome to PM me to discuss anything you're looking for. I might have something for you. Killer prices and good material, as always. ”killer prices and good material” You’re a good man, charley brown. Well, maybe not that good, I have my own selfish motivation to do this. I'm now in my mid 60's and I recently realized I'll never live long enough to work on all the rocks I've picked up through the years. I decided I need to clear out some space and reduce the rock inventory so my loved ones won't hate my guts when I croak. I've seen what happens when old rockhounds leave mortality and it can be quite a problem. I really enjoyed picking up all those rocks and it's the hunt that I like the most, so it won't kill me to part with them this way. Why not? It's better than hoarding them like an old Scrooge. Besides, if I get rid enough of them it gives me an excuse to get out and search for more!

So,... Who's going to interpret what we're seeing in the previous four photos? There's definitely a story being told there.

MFRB 25+ pounds of a combination of tumbling and cutting rough. Flint, jasper, agate, obsidian, Apache tears, some kind of crazy lace, and more. A 12" saw will handle all the cutters. Decent material, no junk.
$30 and I pay shipping.

Is this a turd dropped on a fossil? Amazing. No, I determined it had been ingested because I found more inside it when I cut it open. I immediately thought of Dr. Chins research paper that was published several years earlier.

You're going to have to sell even more rocks if you're going to be getting rid of tumblers too! Tagging rockinronda as I know she's in the market. They call guys like me enablers. To tell you the truth I'm out of touch with prices on these things and I don't know if it's a good value or not. I see most places have them listed at $300 and bowls are $30 each, so I hope this will be right for an RTH member.

This model has the three pound bowls and they can be stacked up to three high during use. It's used but in good shape and I'll include seven bowls and eight lids, plus one piggyback kit. It's a good vibratory tumbler and it should be held down with bungee cords or weights. The bowls are quite durable. 110 volts. It appears that Johnson Bros. has parts.
$275 and I'll cover shipping. First one to say dibs on this thread gets it. Paypal or check works.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE- Obviously the above price is too much and this machine is just sitting idle at my place and I'll never have time to use it, so it might as well become a good deal for somebody. $125 and I'll cover shipping.

Ok, RWA3006 - that last one just put my brain right in the gutter! Me too, it's highly agatized and the photo was shown wet. I better polish that one and get it on the shelf.
