Such beautiful cabs Amber! So excited to hear that you guys got a visit with Ralph and MaryAnn! Also KUDOS to Tony taking on the responsibility of numero uno photographer!!! Why can't I get Patrick to do that for me?!?!?!?!
All he is interested in is cutting rocks in half to see what's inside.........

Awesome Donnie! #4 looks very similar to one I asked about earlier today.... almost uncanny actually.... what is the blue and black fortification agate? And are you and Carlos working the same material? It's like a weird dejavu except with a cool clear window to druzy showing.... I'm stumped but totally loving this black agate I'm seeing today!!!!!

That's impressive! I've only worked marcasite encased in agate.... never had to deal with the mess but these slabs are spectacular!!! AWESOME!

Thanks Tony!
I use a lot of water too, but when I go out to my shop the next day.... sometimes there is a dust covering where water has splashed. I wipe it off but also notice that I might sneeze over and over a few times in my shop. I think it's from the rock dust that the water has evaporated out of. I noticed some next day dust makes me sneeze and cough a bit more than regular agates or jaspers. Asthma runs in my family.... I don't have it but... I try real hard to take precautions. I hate wearing claustrophobic masks though, LOL!
LIGHT BULB!!!! I should take a rag and wipe down everything when I'm done working....

I'm hooked on your Pilbarri and Morrisonite! Wonderful job as always Tony!!! Got a bag of psilomene that I haven't started yet.... advice? Do I need to wear a mask? Heard it's about as dusty and dangerous as many of the other beauts..... and major cleanup afterwards.....

I agree Fran, they are beautiful!!! The pictures are a tiny bit blurry but I can tell it's way better quality than any lapis I've had the pleasure of working. I love your sets, you nail the consistent shapes so perfectly! I'm jealous!!!!

Oh my goodness.... Daniel, you already know what I think about the rocks you choose and slabs you cut but the Pietersite, well, the pictures look 3D.... The blue looks like snow peaked mountain tops with many valleys and a dark scary cavernous dropping in the middle. It's strange how real it looks. The bottom part of the stone is absolutely beautiful but the top just captivated me like a fine piece of nature photography.
Your 2nd is unbelievable but that Pietersite just grabs me! I'm in awe.

Gorgeous collection of Woodward! That orby bulls eye one at the top just jumps out at me!!! WHAT? ? I didn't know that or see that. Just got friended on Facebook from them just a few days ago. I'm really sad now.... Here's my favorite Woodward that I've had the privilege to work: I don't have near the amount that you do but... I LOVE the material and will be sad if it disappears...

I think that's really cool! I don't dop but this sounds pretty interesting even if it's boring and a pain in the patoot to move! Are the girdles angled or 90 degrees? For calibrated cabs, if they are angled, it would be cool to use all of the gold and silver cinch mounts I bought.... problem is..... I haven't used any of them yet and now that I think about it, I don't remember where I put them

That is so funny!!!! My husband's friend came over yesterday to watch Monday night football, he brought one of those 6 packs of blue beer bottles with him and I thought the same thing LOL! I rinsed them and took them out to the garage to break up and throw in the Lot-O for a day or two. That blue is a really pretty color.
