I always enjoy seeing your creations. You have an amazing talent! steve Steve, are you SERIOUS?!?!?! Lesser cabber? ? Ok, I'm going to use your word...... You have always "FREAKIN'" blown me away with your echo stones and amazing talent for finding the perfect picture, pattern and stone. I admired you first, LOL!!! I purchased some of Aaron's (Nuevomundo) new Inca Agate material from high in the Andes in Peru that he is having mined! GORGEOUS STUFF!!! Here is some of the rough (I made a few cuts already before I remembered to take a picture of the rough): I chose the red and purple one on the right for my first cab: Here are the preforms wet and dry, I REALLY love the deep reds and purples in this Inca!!!: The material is very easy to work. I had a few fractures that I had to work around that changed my finished shape slightly but lucky for me, most of the fractures were healed and had a beautiful orange color! Here's the cab: Indoor: Outdoor in full sun: AMAZING how different this stone looks when back-lit Back-lit indoor: Back-lit outside: Thanks for taking some of your time to look at some of mine

The cabs should be cool! I've worked electric blue and electric purple. Don... I think you sent me electric blue right? Any way, Kris hasn't named this material but I would definitely classify it in an electric yellow category. The colors are knock your socks off bright.

Thank you to Kris at Hand to Mouth Mining!!! I talked to Kris about looking for obsidian that is unusual and different than anything I've worked before. He certainly didn't disappoint!!! I received my slab today and it is magnificent! I've never seen almost neon yellow in ob before. This piece goes from lemon yellow to lime green to purple. The pictures aren't the best as it's 8pm and I took these pictures inside. I was able to capture enough though to show you how incredibly cool this piece is. I should be able to get at least two fairly large cabs out of it with full sheen showing ;D
