obsidian is the bane of my cabbing existence, you have done a superior job on it. I am a little jealous.

for me and my wrapping style, this would be easy. 21 gauge square with a matching 21 gauge half round.

this looks really good. I like to use half round on my bails, then I can use the wires for artistic flare.

have you ever had the half rounds come undone, when you only use two bands? I have been wanting to use less binding wire at times, but I worry it wont hold together. No, have not had any come undone (knocks on wood). If you snug it down really tightly it should hold plus the stone will hold it in too. thank you I think I will be a little braver, and try less.

You could wrap wire around the tooth in several bands then come through the hole out the front and make the bail. No glue required, the wire passing through the hole would keep it from slipping off the top. You could even cross the wires in the front as a sort of braid.

Your Mom is going to love that one for sure! Too bad you can replace one of the pieces of chocolate with the cab. That would be really cool. My Mom collects turtles, so I have a real soft spot in my hear for anything turtle. It is not for my mom. It is sales piece.

This is a little bit of getting back to my roots and where I started. No prongs on this one. I thought the little silver turtle charm would soften the dark Piccaso stone. The overall length of this one is 2.5 inches.

I wrapped this piece of lapis in sterling silver, but I think the cage on the bail is a little big.

I love the beads. Do they help hold the stone or do they make it harder to get a secure setting?
