Alrighty! Wow, what a box! So many nice slabbetts in it, I had trouble choosing which I wanted. I was able to choose a few, and hopefully my replacements will do them justice. Also... amazing cab that I got! Thank you miket , it's a beauty! Here's the cab that I received. I'm already daydreaming about what to make with it... once I get a chance to make a setting for it, I'll post it here. There were a lot of really nice slabbetts to choose from. I ended up taking the following: Burro Creek Ocean Jasper Pink Angel Wing Rutilated Quartz Unknown Opal in Agate I'm leaving the one that I cabbed as a surprise for @hookedonrocks . I picked some of my best material as replacements... Pietersite and a new variety of shattuckite from Namibia that I imported 2 days before the covid-19 lockdown. It's a shattuckite that hasn't been offered in the U.S. before, so hopefully people really like it! Mtorolite from Zimbabwe, stabilized kingman turquoise from Colbaugh processing, a chatoyant slab of malachite (chatoyancy doesn't show in the picture, but it's got an amazing optical effect, IMO), and a purple chalcedony from Indonesia. A couple slabs of Russian Amazonite. Slabbed so that they get the optimum chatoyant/optical effect. ( Indonesian opalized wood A backlit picture of the purple chalcedony A couple more slabs of the Namibian Shattuckite If I can fit them in, I might try to get a couple other unique slabbetts in the box. Thanks for your patience, everybody!

Hi Everybody,
I'm so sorry for the delay!! I know I promised an update a week or more ago, but I've been struggling to keep up with my day job, and paradoxically my rock business is the busiest it's been in seemingly forever. I WILL have something to show tomorrow and get the box on its way to the next person by Saturday. Once again, I'm sorry I've taken so long!
Jeff

Nice slab, rockjunquie! Thanks for the shoutout! (I hope the hairline cracks aren't a problem, feel free to PM me if you want to talk about them.)

Hey Everybody! I'm trying to clear up some room for new rocks, and getting ready for Quartzsite, so until the end of the year I'm offering a discount sale on my website... 35% off your purchase, plus free shipping. The only requirement is a minimum $150 purchase. I've also generally lowered the prices of everything already, so it's a great chance to get great material or finished goods for really cheap! Use coupon code XMAS2019If you can't quite swing the $150 minimum, you can use coupon code THANKYOU for a 20% discount! Oops... in case you couldn't find it, my website is www.barnhouselapidary.com/online-store

This is a cab cut from the best piece: Wow, that is a great cowboy head and body in that scene!

Hey Tommy, Thanks for the tag. Sorry for the delay in responding brentambrose, I've been out of town for the past several days. I do have stichtite available still, but not in that grade. What I have is more mixed grade, 30-60% purple and the rest either dark brown or bright green (rare) matrix. Price for forum members is $10/lb, plus shipping. Thanks again! Jeff
