looks a lot like some of the kinds of fossilized stromatolite. Very pretty!

sweet photos Don, I listen for the first Robin song each spring with longing. Such a happy sound. Amazing how quickly they raise a family, those babies are flying in just weeks! Does she ever raise 2 families?

Alaska has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world! Thanks for sharing the pics. people shooting over your heads? were you trespassing on somebody's claim? Was it somebody in your own group doing the shooting? Just enough info here to make a thousand questions in my head. Looking forward to the fossil photos!

beautiful! Do they have a scent? They look like they would! Do you know what kind it is? Winter killed almost all of the roses in my back yard. Going to go for the arctic ones if I decide to risk the heartbreak again. thanks for the pic.

very productive day! the moss in the next to last pic is KILLER! Looks like twin tornadoes coming at you. Labradorite fascinates, I really like the creamy swirls in the one which is about 4-5 oclock position in that first picture! Keep them coming.
