interesting idea to put an ad on Craigslist. you do think out of the box... keep us posted, it will be interesting to hear what sort of response you get (offers to buy your product with a check made out for twice as much from overseas? you keep the excess as a compliment for doing the banking... )

beautiful Gary Green, thanks for showing the Lake Huron rocks, it is always interesting to see what they look like inside, lake and glacier wear sometimes makes them so different outside! You work with such varied material, and come up with such creative cabs and jewelry from it, I follow you on Facebook and look for your posts. Always the coolest stuff! Watching with interest.

so much color! Is that sagenite needles in the first couple of pics? all those pieces are amazingly complex. what a wonder this world is, so many rocks, so little time! Those are great, don't forget to show us what you do with them!

Tommy, your cabs are magic! I was thinking to myself as I looked at your Tiffany cabs that there couldn't be much that was more wonderful than that stuff, then I got a look at the others you posted after them. True art the way you lay them out and the way they end up under your skilled hands. Thanks for another awesome show. Each month I think they couldn't get better and each month you top yourself. Wow!

Thank you Master shotgunner, you are right. I was misled by the green color (doesn't show as much under incandescent light in this photo and the translucency/schiller of the finer lines at the top of the rock near my hand in the photo.( would be the quartz or feldspar from the base granite) Steel doesn't scratch it but glass does, easily. I run across mildly mylonized granite off and on and can recognize it, but stuff like this doesn't show up here very often. I appreciate the input.

love it! Really cool picture of the old water wheel and the house... pretty rare to find those anymore, almost anyplace. do you know what that one was used for? Sorta scary about the lack of water. So beautiful though, I'm glad you took pictures and posted them for us! Thanks for the show!

Walt manofglass went fossil hunting with me last summer, don't know which of us picked it up, the beach here is full of them! they are my favorite fossils from this area, so feathery looking and the fossil pieces are almost always of more than one branch end. That one polished up great! They can be like the Petoskey stones and sometimes are too soft inside to polish well.

beautiful! its great to get to the stage when you are moving in that you can bring out the stuff you love and display it. Then it really starts to feel like home.
