A couple of months ago I decided to give it a go but the process was to slow for me and I ended up doing soldering and then electro plating instead. It works like a charm for me and the jewelery sell faster than I can make them. But if you have any questions about the electroforming let me se if I can help. Happy christmas

Just spend 20 min scrolling up and Down page trying to decide on a favorite, but love them all. Decided to try some reverse psycology on my self and find one that i didn't like! Also failed so I simply decided to favorite them all😄

Hi, I don't know the different Quality for the 2 vibes, but take into consideration what you plan to use for stage one. I recently bought a uv-10 but soon reliazed i need to use my "regular" thumbler for stage one and since my thumbler is only 2lb it takes forever before I have enough to feed my Vibe. So if you have a small thumbler I would go with the lot-O

I had good success last night using hot glue. I applied it to the bolt threads and then quickly jammed it in and twisted. I had one fall off, but it wasn't a problem. The glue came out with the bold and pealed off the bolt fairly easily. The whole process went very well. The beads are now in the Lot-O. Thanks for the good idea! The pics didn't load🤓🙃

I wasn't clear. I'm going to insert the threaded end into the bead (the bead is fairly long, over half an inch). The threaded end will not protrude from the end of the bead. There will be no nut. This will allow me to bring the end of the cylinder shaped bead into the wheel to make a 45 degree angle bevel. Then I'll round from there. The bead is longer than it's diameter, so a nut would take up most of the end of the bead and not allow access to the end of the bead. A few pictures should clear this up. Here are the beads I've already made for her. These are soft rocks (Kona dolomite and a local fossil) so I did them all on the wheels. They are far from perfect. I want the next set to be more cylindrical with rounded corners. The next set is made of rocks I can tumble, so I'm just going to rough them out on the wheels and then tumble them in the Lot-O. Here's what I have done so far. Here's how I want the bolt to be. I'm just wondering if I should use hot glue, wax, or something else. IMG_6278 by jugglerguy, on Flickr I think both hot glue or wax will do the trick. Just remember to heat the dop/stick. Use low speed and wear protection!!! I'm surpriced that i haven't injuried my self or any body yet. I would also suggest that you start on the 220 wheel. I've noticed that the 80 or 120 are to rough on the stone even on flint I've had small pieces coming of.

Fresh of the dremmel. Still needs to practice some more to get it perfect, but it's fast as hell....

Read a tip on Facebook on how to make those round cabs using a dremmel on the wheel. Did try it out and it worked great for the first one. So found a pack of nails the fitted my dremmel perfect and a glue gun and 10 minuts later I had lined up 30 preforms to be turned into buttons but for some reason the next 4 cabs turned out uneven. Fat in one side, but my brain can't figure out what I'm doing wrong?? Any suggestions?
Yes did have a couple to fly of, it's really dangerus and I'm sure that at some point it will cause a lot of pain😜

Wow they are both amazing and not only do you have outstanding skills, the cabs are beautyfull and the wrapping really nice, but you also have a really great taste. In my mind a wrapped necklace for a man would be a big No Go, but this piece really works and looks just perfect. Wish I was on your birthday-list😄

Funny thing, neither liked the Finn. Denmark, sweden and Norway are like a sibling relation, the Finn's are just to far away from us in so many ways.

I believe these are Sanidinite facies with migmatite inclusions - see link for a good stab at translation. There's a Pressure Temperature diagram here where Sanidinite can be seen in the bottom right hand corner. Cool rocks by the way! That is excatly the right one and even the same page I use for ID. Didn't realize that it also was in english.

Looks excatly the same as our granite, but did you tumble these?? If you did please tell the secret, because they look really crap when I tumble granite and I only cab granite now but would love to tumble some granite again DO NOT tumble granite. Gneiss is easier and some gneiss will tumble very nice. Granite and tumblers do not work lol. The felspar is too much softer than the quartz component, simple as that. I have been in Almhults Bruk Sweden on several occasions. Love Scandinavia. Beautiful country. Beautiful people. You are so fortunate. PS The Norwegians and the Swedes are always teasing each other. They say to the other "You make a coffee cup with the handle on the inside of the cup". MUST NOT TUMBLE GRANITE😄 I know but it would be great if possible. Yeah there is Always an "intern" battel between Denmark - Norway - Sweden. I work in a scandinavian Company so I have both Swedish and norweigan colleagues (no spell check) so every Day is a battel to see who can dish eachothers the most😃 I'm not into sports that much but big sportsevents are the worst. I'm lucky that i get to travel to both sweden and Norway often in relation to work and I truly enjoy what both the contries have to offer (nature most - not the food that much)

Just wanted to show the latest addition to my rapidly growing collection. In Danish it's called Västervik-plet-sten translated to something like Västervik-spot-Stone and yes we scandinavians truly understand giving our rocks cool names😂 Västervik is the city/area in sweden where it comes from. It consist of the same materials as gneiss but there has been no forces to move it or pressure it. Instead it was formed under enormus heat and the Quartz and feldspar has melted together creating the light red layer and the darker Minerals has melted and gatherd into spots. Sorry for the poor explanation but couldn't find and english info I could link to. Normally I leave 8 pound on the Beach but this one was worth dragging home😀

No offense taken *S*. After all, you're not here and I'm not there so neither of us has a handle on the other folks' range. To be fair, my nephew just got back from a vacation to Denmark and he liked it but he was amazed at how crowded Europe is and how much dope was around in Denmark. He's a very conservative kid and lives in a small rural town like me. Far as I'm concerned, they would have to build a bridge so I could drive there cause I do not like plane travel. ( Flying incident back in college *L*). I myself prefer the wide open spaces slow country living and my horses. Whatever floats your boat but tourism is not my thing.....Mel He must have been in our Capital Copenhagen then if He Seen a lot of dope. I just hope He Visited some others of our great Citys. Stayed in a small town in Texas this summer and meet a really nice Young Girl trying to study and support her self. She lived on a farm in the country side and invited us to come and visit her on her farm. So we did and that is one of our Best memories from our trip.

Denmark huh? Gee based on what I see in the news, IMHO I'd rather have Trump, scorpions, widows, centipedes and fire ants than the wall to wall Muslims, hugely high taxes and nanny state socialists all y'all have messing up your countries in Scandinavia. Besides, a little danger makes things more interesting. Old Europe just sounds crowded, too PC and boring as all get out. Garage rocker, Those fire ants are a royal pain all right. Those boogers sting so hard they can almost make your leg buckle and afterwards they itch like a bygod for days. Just had to bait the yard as new mounds really pop up after a rain. Scorpions aren't too bad as the stings hurt like Hell but go away fairly fast. Dear Mel Didn't meen to offend you or anyone else and yes Denmark clearly have some issues and some battels to fight, but i promise you that if you swing by some day I'll show you that it's still possible to have a great time in Denmark.
