I am very popular when I have a burrito Oh my! Burrito vultures!!!! Who is the alpha dog?? In this picture the Alpha Dog is on the left, Jackson was rather uncontainable and got out on a busy street a mile away from home and was killed a year ago. Still have the other two dogs, Bucky the Black one is the father of Darwin, the brown one. Bucky is eleven years old and he belongs to my fiancee, we met 2 years ago. Darwin the brown dog is an albino as his father and mother are both Black Labs. Jackson was replaced with Sam, a seven year old dog that we got from an animal shelter a few months ago. Sam has been mistreated and he is just now discovering that he is in a loving home and becoming one of the greatest dogs ever. Here is a picture of my current 3 dogs from a mountain trip we took Monday, two days ago. Sam is already leading the pack . . .

I may have been overdosing by accident . . . Thought I had a One Cup measure that I used to measure out the Stage 1 grit and guessed at 3/4 cup grit for the 6 pound barrels ? Looked at it closely yesterday while doing cleanouts and noticed it was actually a One and a Half Cup measure, so I've been adding over a cup 46/70 to those barrels

The snow is building up in drifts at the bottom of the screen and making it hard to read the ShoutBox. Guess I will have a Christmas Tree Avatar till New Years Day, My tree from 10 years ago. Used a fancy camera animation function to make this picture in-camera.

I don't suppose that this is any kind of problem, was just surprised to see and smell oil in the barrel. I guess the soap would help mix the oil into the slurry. Also wondering if this could be a problem in the polish stages.

I have been getting Oil in the Slurry the last couple of times I opened the barrel for cleanout. It was starting to rain when this picture was taken and you can see the craters in the thick slurry that is also created. And a strong oily smell when rinsing everything off. Here is the contents of the barrel, I think the oil and thick slurry are being caused by the black stones at the top of the colander? These stones were mixed with some granite rip-rap that I got from under this newly constructed bridge. There is also a few small pieces of Slate in there that may be causing it ?

The next barrel needs to be two different colors.
Do you have a Brand Name picked out for your tumblers yet ?

I have seen members here tumbling the Hard Outside Skin of a Bowling Ball called "Bowlerite", they also tumble Built Up Paint Layers known as "Fordite". As far as I know, they are using fairly standard polishing methods that are used in Rock Polishing. Try searching those materials.

I used to work at a fireworks factory that specialized in Indoor Fireworks used in stage and theatrical productions. Made stuff used by Ted Nugent and Michael Jackson. It was a fairly large company named Lunatech Pyropak in North Alabama. Indoor fireworks need to be very controlled and predictable. All of the pyro recipes had the ingredients listed along with the particle size. The particle size was about the most important part of the recipe. I worked with those sieves pictured for hours on vibrators sorting out ingredients to make the products. Worked a lot with hammer mills too.

I had a Brownie Camera way back around 1967 in 4th grade. Must have taken 200 pictures with it.

Went to Harbor Freight yesterday and bought a lighted magnifying desk lamp and this morning I decided to ReWrap the star/octagon piece that I made above ^ I took off all the capture wire and started over from just the Main Frame with the spacers still on it I could see it much better this time and spent a lot more attention to detail I still had a bit of trouble getting my brain to define what I wanted, ended up a little looser but it looks much better It really helps to have worked with wire all my life, but I need something besides electrical wire and much better tools I have a couple of ideas to get started on, and I need to get involved with the jewelry people at the Rock Club I just joined
