thanks for the reply, i meant to delete this thread as i found the specimen section, the number 3rd rock is positively confetti agate - Yours is a beautiful piece! very nice. Looking at my pics, the second to the last rock i put up looks identical pattern to your rock - it is rosetta .

Hi Everyone,
My cab machine has the original rubber rectangle sheets hanging down to spread the water across the wheels, unfortunately they dont work very well and the water is usually sent to one side or another. For all you crabbers and lapidarists, what do you use to spread the water across the wheels, or drums? What works best?
Thanks!

really appreciate all the input! Thanks. The number one had " bull something plume" couldn't read the second word was rubbed off and 150.00 written on it, it was gotten from an estate sale from a buddy, as a lot of these were. I looked at "peach feather plume" and it looks real similar though. I have a bunch of top notch, my two friends go there frequently and have hundreds of lbs of that stuff, if anyone wants some i can make the contact for you to get some if you live in central CA. all these rock were gotten at 1.00 pound or .25c pound- they dont have time to sort and sell individually priced stuff. Got 4 pieces of dino bone each several pounds too. And some other really nice agates i know the id's of . Appreciate all the id's definitely helps- anyone else might know some of them, stoked to get some replies and feedback

Thanks... hope anyone else who is a collector or just knowledgable lapidaries could chime in as well, thanks for the feedback. Most of these are larger rough, even though cracks in some of the faced sections, should make some great uncracked slabs after the first cut...

Thanks, Yeah Ive seen those- if i were going to buy those i will probably spend less money and make something similar myself. Just saw new old stock poly products go on ebay and see them for sale, so hoping someone might have some - or splashguards they arent using anymore that want to sell. Thanks for reply

Hi, I have 2 8" poly arbors that i am trying to set up and get something to work for me. Anyone who has the poly splashguards I am interested in buying. Additionally, looking for 8" splashguards - anything might work- would appreciate it if anyone has some to sell or knows someone who might. Thanks again!
