I'm usually either shipping or receiving packages from all over the US. I've found USPS to be a little slow but it's acceptable to me. My most recent package came a day earlier than tracking showed.

Nice TR, glad you enjoyed the Cedar Breaks area. We're up there quite a bit during the Summer, escaping the heat of Toquerville. That Ramparts Trail is a great hike, it's been a few years since we did it but it is terrific. The Bristlecone Pines are the best, love photographing them. There is a hike in that area called "Twisted Forest", it's pretty easy but very rewarding.

I got some of this from Tommy a couple of years ago. You had the same fun I did tumbling it. My wife has a great display of it in front of our fireplace, an oblong wood tray filled with it. I don't think anyone that sees it isn't "WOW'D" by it.

Beautiful up there. I've fished that Pine Valley Res. a couple of times and found Trout. There is a small stream coming from that Res. which has some Brook Trout in it also. I'm looking to be in the hills beyond Veyo tomorrow actually. Probably pick up some Pies on Main street if they are open on my way out. Thanks for sharing! I like anything with mountains and pines in it! Got to this a little late, hope you had a good trip. Rocks and Veyo Pies what could be bad. That stream is actually the Santa Clara River, a friend has found a spot just below the town where he's had good success.

Beautiful pics. Looks so relaxing. Many thanks for sharing and glad you were able to get out and have fun. RocksInNJ I'm from NJ, moved to Utah 15 years ago, have a daughter there. Sure wish they'd relax some of the restrictions for you folks, possibly June 1?

I live in SW Utah and we've been opening for a couple of weeks, still some restrictions. Wife and I are older, I'm 76, but have no real health issues. When restaurants opened for dine in we were there first day but eating on a patio. This week I decided to get out and enjoy the late Spring, enough of staying close to home. Hope all your states start opening and allow you to enjoy thing, again! Tuesday we went to the Pine Valley area of Dixie N.F.: A Western Tanager, rare for me to see one:

Here's a picture a friend just sent me, I sent some rocks to his grandson a year ago. It's his birthday today and my friend reworked the photo.

I see all the time posts on FB asking "what do you do with your tumbled rocks?" I've never sold any, either wife gets them or I give to folks. On another forum, not rocks, a fellow mentioned that his three year old grandson loved rocks and had started a collection. I offered to send him some and he sent me these photos, makes it so worthwhile! A couple of weeks later the young guy was still loving them:

^^^^ Isn't that a great hike to Corona Arch? We really enjoyed that one, we did Negro Bill Canyon the same day.

Did you know that Moab is basically shut down? I know for a while there were no hotels and they were not allowing visitors to camp anywhere in the county. Much of the state will reopen to Yellow on Saturday May 16th, Moab and Grand County will not. I guess it's worth the effort if you're in the area but you might want to check if the shop is open. Arches and Canyonlands National Parks will not begin reopening until May 29th.
I have stopped at the rock shop, it's a really interesting place. We didn't buy anything but enjoyed browsing. There was a lot of interesting rocks and bones.

Still using some of my tumbles for background. I'm retired so the Covid 19 is only affecting my away from home activities. At home I get to play with rocks and other hobbies. These rocks here are Petrified Wood from Virgin, UT and Bacon Agate from Moab, UT. I know it's a knife thread, but for me, the Python is the winner. Everytime I see one, I kick myself for not having bought one way back when, but I couldn't afford it - bought a 6" 686 instead. The Pythons had the most beautiful bluing of any handgun I ever recall seeing back then. Your's looks to be in beautiful shape as well. aDave The Python has been in the family since new, my brother bought it in the '70s. It will be passed to my bothers son, stays in the family. I had it tuned by a fellow named Reeves Jungkind, he's since passed. He was a retired Texas Ranger and the top Python guy. This gun is amazingly smooth, my wife loved shooting it with 38 spl.
