I am looking for some good, reputable sites to get some tumble material from. Not Ebay, I have never trusted that site though.

I think that this was the best batch yet.
I did a quick batch of glass, which I cleaned out today. Not perfect, but good for my first try at tumbling glass. I also threw in a bunch of rocks to start stage one.

I am confused on how much grit I should be using. I heard 2 tbs, per pound. Is this accurate??? It seems to vary with who you ask...? And does it matter what you are tumbling? Should I use less for softer materials, or for glass?

Anyone have any tips on how to hand polish? Some of these end cuts look like they would polish up real nice by hand!

I have a nat geo tumbler. I think taht it is a good starting place, and it is so much better than my plastic one that i had when i was little.

Wow you did the impossible found rocks in New York, I always thought that place was concrete from one end to the other. Hard to tell when you cannot see through the smog. Not THAT part of New York...
