I'll agree with that sentiment (actually both of those sentiments), it just wouldn't be the same without him here. 'course, he takes a little getting used to. But I wouldn't trade him for nothing! I think we'll keep him on the team, lol. After making 10K cabs, I would expect perfection like that!
And he does great work, and takes very nice photos. Yeah, he's a keeper!
jasoninsd , are you blushing yet? I can just envision your cheeks and ears turning red!
ETA - did I mention yet how great those cabs are? Well, like Tony the Tiger 🐅 says, they're
GRRREAAT!!!
Thank you my friend! community...one that I'm truly grateful to be put up with accepted! Yeah...your kind words were definitely making my cheeks flushed!
I am definitely the blessed one...this really is such an amazing community...one that I'm truly grateful to be put up with accepted! I am definitely the blessed one...this really is such an amazing community...one that I'm truly grateful to be put up with accepted!
You're welcome, Jason. I knew that would get you blushing, lol. You really are a wonderful fit here, if you don't mind my saying. And your last sentence - "I am definitely the blessed one...this really is such an amazing community...one that I'm truly grateful to be put up with accepted!" I think the word you were looking for is tolerated, lol. JUST TEASING! Okay I'm done picking on you, carry on.
Nice cabs. First looks more like what they call caldera jasper with the red and yellow, and 2nd indeed has some nice ellipso pattern going on. I do really like the sprig in the last one, fits well into the shape.
“You preachers of equality, the tyrannomania of impotence clamors thus out of you for equality: your most secret ambitions to be tyrants thus shroud themselves in words of virtue. Aggrieved conceit, repressed envy—perhaps the conceit and envy of your fathers—erupt from you as a flame and as the frenzy of revenge.” —Friedrich Nietzsche

Thanks for being here.
I think the word tolerate was MUCH more appropriate! LOL - I'm like when you stub your toe...it's not the worst pain in the world...but it's "tolerable"! LOL

Thanks Lee!
All from the same slab of Gary Green. I know the rest of the rock has that ellipso effect going on...but I don't know how much of the brown lines there is going through. I might have to make a few more cuts. (Like I really needed an "excuse" to get on the saws! LOL)

If doing 8 per day...with a few days off, it'd be around 3 years! Maybe I should have been counting cabs...instead of carbs*! LOL

When I read your title I practically choked on the whole grain multi-thin I was eating, then I believe I blew a piece of it out my nose. I did not keep track of how many I've made but I do know that it took me five years to reach 2000 sales on Etsy ... just thinking about 10k kinda feels like ... well ... painful

Seriously though, life on the forum would not be the same without you jasoninsd
I do a lot of "false advertising" in my thread titles...also know as "clickbait"! LOL
Thanks so much Tommy!
I've been fighting carpal tunnel in my right wrist for 35 years...which has nothing to do with working hard rocks. You know what...now that I think about it...oh wait, nevermind!

For whatever reason Giphy no longer publishes the actual URL to the .GIF image - if you read the URL they are providing there is no extension on the end.
Tommy , seems to me they must have changed something. It is a GIF, isn't that what the file used to end in?
I'm no IT guy but it appears they are blocking access to the actual URL through the use of java script and now they only have a 'direct' method of embedding on socials like FB of course. Now that they are Facebook owned none of this should surprise anyone.
Ummm...of all the members on the forum, I'm the most likely to hijack a thread...so no apology necessary! LOL
Found a shot of Tommy working on the solution to the giphy problem:

I can remember you, among a handful of others, that were often the first and most often to comment on my early posts when I first joined.
Don't know if in the early stages made the difference to keep interacting, but it was encouraging to hear feedback.
Imagine it's the same for other newbies to the forum.
Hard to ignore the eye candy you put out.
An RTH staple, no doubt.
Thank you so much Chad!
I know a tremendous amount of my posts are either a smart-alek comment...or a "cheerleader" type of comment - although once in awhile there's a topic I can sound smart about (I know...few and far between! LOL). However, I truly believe if someone has taken the time to share something that they've worked on or accomplished, then the least I can do is post some kind of a positive comment...or thank them for taking the time to share. When I first joined, the feedback and comments were greatly appreciated by me...so I try to do the same for others.

jasoninsd, I'll comment occasionally on the pretties, but I'm not much of a Rah! Rah! cheerleader type.
Single items, like cabs and pendants, have to be pretty special for me to break out the compliments. It's just me. I'll usually just like a post, but if I don't reply with a comment, don't take that to mean that it's not totally awesome!
Sifting through so many posts sometimes takes a long time.
This space is for temporary chat only and all posts drop off automatically and are not saved.
