It's a beauty indeed Tela & yes I have to agree the stone is nicer in person (beautiful cab BTW, Susan susand24224 ). Ha, I have a beauty from both of you.
I can't imagine how you could have worried Tela Now the hard thing is having to decide which stone to wrap, which stones can I keep, what to swap - OH MY
Good thing I have to get to work.....

OK, SO if this is "Roaming Wire', then these are the "roaming stones".
I for one, had no idea that there was such a large (20) assortment of cabs coming down the pipe.
So, I thought for the people following me, this might be beneficial. They are all in little bags & mostly marked with what they are.
I haven't decided yet which ones I'm keeping, adding or passing & wrapping-
but I will, soon enough.
But here's the Roaming Stones - there are soME REALLY nice ones in there.

Thank you, Patty, for the compliment on the cab, and Tela, for the wrap. I can't tell you how many times I traced that cab, looked at that cab, considered taking up religions, all to figure out how to wrap it. There are probably thirty-five different ways I came up with and none were just "IT." Truth be told, had it made it back to me I likely would have pilfered it and come up with thirty-five more that weren't quite right. I knew Tela would come up with the perfect wrap, though, and it was time for someone else to give it a whirl! I'm so glad I did, since I got rewarded with perfection with a cab I adored, and the wrap couldn't have a better home.

So glad it was there when it was my turn. It was fun.

Well I'll treasure it forever, Tela & Susan,
it came from two people who gave it both artistic flare & thought to it.
Thank you both again,
Patty

What isn't obvious is that Susan's cab has 2 concave sides. So, this design helped hold the wires in on the side. ... I love it when my plan comes together ...

I just ran across a stencil for that shape two days ago when searching for "designer cab shapes"...and susand24224, that one is a great example of a "designer cab"!!

liveoak and jasoninsd You guys probably don't know but susand24224 and I did a lot of trading and gifting back in the day. She has a really good eye for composition! One of my favorite pieces and the first one I sold on Etsy was cabbed by Susan. She saw a ghost, I saw an owl. Susan also helped me edit my book. (I need to edit it again.) We make a good team.

It goes without saying that Tela can take my "abnormal" creations and turn them into works of art. And Tela, it was so nice to see Caspar the Friendly Ghost again, especially as morphed into an owl. I truly am beyond words with what you did with that cab--especially after I tried very hard and kept coming up with mediocre stuff.
And I've got to ask, did you change the part that used to read "putting on er, ah, gloves" to work with liver of sulphur?

OK, I finally got to finish up some cabs yesterday so here's the photo of that I'm trading out & wrapping. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to show exactly which one I'm wrapping, but I tended to like Tela's approach & leave ya guessing.
Top row- trading out - including one of these I'm wrapping.
Bottom row adding in.
Bottom Row- from left to right Maury Mountain Moss Agate Turritella agate Fancy Green Jasper
Sardonyx Dichroic glass bead - 1" pillow shaped bead with single hole drilled through.
I have a couple of these & although it's not a rock or a cab, (which made me hesitate to include it at first)
I think they are beautiful & plan to wrap one myself, and thought someone else might be inspired.
Hope to have my wrap done some point this coming week.
Thanks,
Patty

Wow to the new cabs, quite a lot of variance and all beautiful! I am particularly taken by the shape of the fancy green jasper. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is wrapping it in their mind. And Patty, for one who was concerned that there were no "normal" cabs, it looks like you are taking quite a leap. You will excel.

Alas, I'd love to--but there are many more before I could pilfer it. I don't think that cab will last long.

I like the fancy shield, too.
Can't wait to see your wrap.... oh, the suspense. I'm glad you didn't share which one you're gonna wrap. Funner that way.

Just thought I'd give an update
I have my wrap done & everything boxed up ready to go.
Hopefully Diane will like the wrap she's getting.
I went ahead & PM'd drocknut for her address. But I think she's been at Quartzite, so once I hear back I'll ship it on.
