Hello everyone
Exciting news! The wind has changed direction for Randy and I. Monday 1/9 or Tuesday 1/10 wr head out on my next adventure (job) in Albuquerque New Mexico. I am so excited to return to my 2nd home, LOL. I fell in love with New Mexico during my first assignment in 2019. I had returned out there for 2 more assignments in 2021/22. I was actually requested by the District Manager which I understand from my recruiter is a testament to my work ethic,I don't know about that. Anyway if there is anyone in the Tijares (sp) or Albuquerque area in the forum I would love to chat rocks. Everyone safe in 2023 as I will try on my trek across the U.S.

Woot Woot for warmer weather!! Here's hoping you have smooth sailing on the upcoming adventure! (Which I hope isn't TOO adventurous! ) Knowing us everyday will be an adventure. Tried talking Randy into dipping down into Arkansas to go crystal hunting but said this time of year isn't the time to go crystal hunting. Plans are for the crater, grand canyon and caves. Rock hounding if any RTH new mexico members would share hounding spots. There is a state/national park that is specific for rock hounding. Missed it last time want to go this time. |

This is definitely a nice area. Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Toas are some of my favorite NM cities. The old road from Toas to Tesuque is one of my favorite drives and the fall colors can be indescribable.

I just signed another contract myself, staying in New York. It is colder in the Adirondack mountains though LOL..and a bit snowier. Buffalo gets all the press but over 10 feet of snow so far on the Tug Hill region.

Congratulations dirtsifter and yucky on the snow. Cant wait to go to the zoo in shorts and t-shirts in a couple weeks. That's the coolest part. Last year this time I had my feet in the rio grand. It still gets cool out there but not nearly as COLD as here. Glad to hear you are going to continue to be a traveling earth bound angel. 😀 |
