A few of these were done before the new wheels went on, but most of these were done after. I forgot how aggressive new wheels are...and how simply brushing a knuckle up against one can remove several layers of skin! LOL Some of this material came from rockjunquie , susand24224 , aDave , and other material I had on hand. Thanks y'all. As always, thanks for taking a gander. Bruneau Jasper - This stuff polishes so amazingly well!! Mary Ellen Jasper - I could not get a "mirror" polish on this to save my life! St. John's Flower Agate - This cab is for Susan. She said she'd like a marquis shape...but I didn't realize I didn't have a stencil...so I winged it! LOL Palm Root - Cutting the preform, my trim saw threw this 30 yards across the yard! It took FOREVER to find it camouflaged in the dead grass! I got lucky! LOL Chinese Pietersite - Been holding onto this slab forever...finally bit the bullet and cabbed a couple! Tiffany Stone - This was the only slabette of this material I had...and now I want another 50 pounds! LOL - Love this material! Crazy Lace Agate - I love this shape! I stole it from BikerRandy! There's a subtle inward curve before the top goes on...unlike most other shield shapes.

jasoninsd - Very nice looking stones. I'm curious, what were your steps in finishing the stones and what polish do you use? They've polished beautifully!

Great work again. Thanks for the tag. All are gorgeous, but I'm always a sucker for Crazy Lace. That banding is amazing.

Very nice! 👍 I just realized I need to start paying attention to how inside curves are wrapped. Yes, I was sooo surprised at how rough the fresh Nova wheels are! My hands were pretty chewed up that first week. Not so much anymore. So… about a set of wheels per year for you??

jasoninsd - Very nice looking stones. I'm curious, what were your steps in finishing the stones and what polish do you use? They've polished beautifully! Jim Thank you Jim! 80 and 220 hard wheels. 280-3000 Nova Wheels. 14K diamond paste on canvas. Then Cerium Oxide pad. Great work again. Thanks for the tag. All are gorgeous, but I'm always a sucker for Crazy Lace. That banding is amazing. Thanks Dave! OMG! I freakin' LOVE that Crazy Lace...if you couldn't tell from all the pics! LOL - I picked up several slabs off this one rock...and I still have a couple small slabs left. I think it's one of the best looking pieces of Crazy Lace I've ever worked!! Very nice! 👍 I just realized I need to start paying attention to how inside curves are wrapped. Yes, I was sooo surprised at how rough the fresh Nova wheels are! My hands were pretty chewed up that first week. Not so much anymore. So… about a set of wheels per year for you?? Thank you so much! The trick I've found for wrapping inside curves is...you have to make sure the wires are slightly "over bent" where the curve is. That way when you "press" the wire into that curve, it'll fit snug. You can't pull the wire taut like you can around a teardrop shape...or the wire moves away from the edge with the inside curve. (If any of that makes sense! LOL)

That Palm Root is cool & the Tiffany stone is outrageous ( and I've never seen it before)
But I do LOVE blue Pietersite. The first one especially.
Thanks for the show Jason,
Beauties as usual,
Patty

Thanks Patty! Tiffany Stone is so variable with the way it looks. I really like the pieces which are mainly purple like this one! Yeah...I've loved Pietersite ever since the first time I saw it!

Bloody knucks are always The gift that keeps on giving The first one is my fave😊😊 Thanks Paul! I was hoping some "orb-like" scene was going to come out on that second one...but nope! I started with a higher dome...and kept going lower and lower until it was pretty dang low, just hoping some of the pattern would come through.

I'm with Paul! I love me some Bruno. That's a superb capture. The Tiffany is a close second. But, that second Mary Ellen is pretty awesome, too.

Thanks Tela! I really like each and every one of these for various reasons...but for me, hands down my favorite is that Crazy Lace. Fortification Fever took ahold of me and wouldn't let go! LOL

I swear I wasn't begging for a compliment about all of them! LOL I think what wins it for me on the Crazy Lace is actually that shape! When I was going back through old doublet threads and found a bunch of cabs from BikerRandy with that shape, it just kept growing on me! It might be the replacement shape for my "teardrop" addiction! LOL
