Pretty sure I still have a business account so I gave it a trial run. There's a section at the top that say "pay & get paid". When I clicked on that it took me to send money where you put in someone's email addy. Then you hit next where you can put in the amount. On the same page you chose where the money comes from & underneath that is the option for "friends and family". Click on that one & you can continue on.

excitedly following this thread!! Unfortunately I won't be able to sign up - but I'll gladly send over another donation to help get us closer to the goal once we know where we land. Super excited to see the outcome of this competition!

Thanks Donnie the trouble is others can't send F&F to me because of the type of account I have. I logged on to my wife's account and tested and confirmed it to be the case. I contacted PP yesterday about changing back to a normal account and they basically said no and that I'd have to close my account and start a new one. |

All, the first round of slabs are going out this Wednesday the 9th.
So far we have five participants on board, the four who confirmed here and one via PM.
Plenty of time between now and Wed to jump in and get your slab in the mail!

First of all I want to say make sure fence jumpers pictures are blurry please.
Second, Nate and I are going to be in as a team effort. Unfortunately both of us can't enter at this time due to we have a wedding coming up and also some projects around the house.
If that is not possible then Nate and I will duke it out ie: play rock paper scissors to get to see who cuts the cab.
It'll probably be Nate as I'm not a plasma fan and he's never cut it.

What is hilarious about this is my current phone camera glass is shattered and the epicenter of the damage is apparently directly over the zoom lens. Regular photos look good but if I try to zoom it looks like I'm in a room full of smokers. I'll get the whole photography thing figured out in time but at this point I'm still scratching my head haha |

All, I was asked the question about posting your own personal photos and it's definitely something I should have mentioned. I have added the following note to the contest description post above:
Note: Contestants please hold off on posting any personal pictures of your cabochon creation OR the marked slab - or anything else that can specifically identify a cabochon as being yours until after the public viewing/voting portion of the contest, thanks!
