A few more arrived today. These will be for volume replacement. I finally found a bigger one for a reasonable price. The big one is 5.5 oz. The other two larger ones are around 2.3 oz.  |

Starguy ... thanks especially for posting the "before" pictures .... seeing what they look like pre-tumble / vibe helps in the learning process of knowing what to look for when wandering on the shores of Lake Superior. So far, I have found one small "maybe" but I have hopes for next year's hounding foray !

iamchrisI would say the price of that agate is on the high end although it is a nice stone. The majority of the medium size agates in this thread cost $0.99. Lots more were in the $1.99-$3.99 range. With the exception of the large one posted above, the highest cost stone was $12.99. Over my years of buying small Lakers, I have seen them between $4-10/ lb.

Some real eye candy in there Brent  I can’t believe they’re being sold either but I’m willing to buy them while the price stays reasonable. The minimum bid has been creeping up a little lately but the quality is worth it. iamchris I would say the price of that agate is on the high end although it is a nice stone.
