Beautiful rocks! My favorite is the last one with the window. Great depth. And the one just above. It looks like Jupiter is trapped in there! Thanks man, that one suprised me and kind of came out of nowhere in a week.
I have it in polish and should be finished in a couple of days.
python Thank you sir, it's on ongoing project of mine.

(Some details need to be edited later...)
There came a point somewhere around a month and half ago, I realized my ambitions and pace of the project had gotten the better of me. Can't imagine how I planned on keeping an every or every other week documented check on these guys like the first couple in this batch. Think my prediction held true on this guy. One thing I did learn was to try and avoid wedge rocks like this going forward. Despite it's small size, it took a much longer time than other stones. I'm happy it's done, I guess there is a spot in my heart for it, despite it's flaws. Had to hang onto that window.... forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/post/1303359I half love this rock. That little pit on the quartz face is a bit a of a sucker punch after all that time. Oh well...fun to track the progress. Angle of the rock changed enough couldn't keep some shots. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/post/1303465
For as small as this one is, I really like the colors and layering. Easy pocket rock Going thru my old pics trying to find this guy, I would not have guessed A would turn into B. Love it as a transition piece of sorts.
Same with this guy, I'm not sure how you guess the color patterns that emerged. One of my favorite Bahias I've worked. In terms of total tumble time, it was in the shortest...completely unexpected. Love it.

Not only the end results are excellent, the documented journey is priceless.

I pulled everything Bahia from the tumblers this weekend and did a bit of organizing on my end to get this project under control again. I still don't know a good way of presenting these with the shear number of rocks, that is a brainstorming session of it's own. There is something...I just don't just haven't run across the right platform yet. The first 30-50 were OK in tracking because I had a pretty good relationship with how they were progressing, but I realize now after multiple weeks with stones I've only really inspected a few times, it's much more difficult than I imagined in matching A with B. All that being said, I'm still working on things, little by little. To fill the literal void in my tumblers and keeping things moving I bought a tile saw (yikes) last weekend and started working the goodies in the milk crate that I've accumulated over the years. Figure every couple of weeks I'll get a few pounds together instead of buying more smalls. Like many of you, I have more rocks than a grown man should have...but were getting there. Hoping, not promising, some kind of update in the next month or so....we'll see

I enjoy seeing your Bahia agates. I like the way they change so drastically even from rough to stage 1. They are one of my favorites and really need to post some photos of the ones I've tumbled. Good work!
