Kudos to all of you for your entries! I knew this was an "odd" shape that isn't usually chosen to do...but y'all came through with flying colors showing! I'm sorry I didn't get an entry in...especially for my own theme!

As always, I'll let the voters decide. My thought is someone was actually trying to help a struggling contest that was about to close with FOUR entries and lately seems to be teetering on the edge.

Should have made it a square then at least it could have been called an equilateral rectangle.  It is a shame because it's an amazing piece of material and a beautifully cut cab, but It wouldn't have looked as good as a triangle anyway. |

Tommy. parfive. I wondered about that, too. Could be the entry was meant for a different contest. I recall that recently there was a call for shapes broader than tall.

Not to beat a dead horse but I'm going to anyway  I do know that the intentions were pure I will ALWAYS welcome another entry into the contest. That's why the default with every cabochon entered in every contest is to err on the side of inclusion and let the voters decide. |
