Very beautiful material for sure. Thanks Thomas! Last night I shaped up some preforms from that Crazy Lace and I'm pretty stoked to work them. I'm thinking they'll be jumping in front of the rest of the stuff already on dop! LOL

Really nice. Actually really like those bottom two, along with the royal sahara. I think you made the right choice. We should always do real life before screen life.🤓

I should have taken a dry pic of those bottom slabs. There's some significant fractures in the slabs. However, I did cut some preforms (avoiding the fractures hopefully! LOL) and they'll get worked here pretty soon.

jasoninsd I just started on piece of crazy lace that looks very similar. I recently got magnetic nova discs to use as end plates on my genie. They work pretty well, still breaking them in (getting some weird scratching in places/at times that seem odd to me). Anyways, the other piece off this rock that i worked had some undercutting issues in the darker brown/black areas...

Love that one (or that one side in particular!). As far as your disks...did you run an agate (or similar hard material) over them? Sounds like you might have a high diamond...or a diamond cluster that needs to get knocked down...

Wow! The Crazy Lace is sick. Really like the Royal Sahara Jasper too.

Wow! The Crazy Lace is sick. Really like the Royal Sahara Jasper too. Thanks Chris!! I don't seem to get as excited on most material...not like I did when I first started. However, once in awhile, I'll get something that gets my "giddyness" going! LOL - If the cabs from that Crazy Lace turn out like I'm hoping they're going to, they're going to be really really really awesome! LOL

That Royal Sahara looks so much like Biggs it's stunning... gorgeous material!! Thank you! Isn't that insane?!? It was a pretty decent sized nodule...one of the biggest ones I've seen offered for sale. I'm sure there are larger pieces out there...but I usually only see these tiny little nodules for sale...

I really like that first piece of Royal Sahara with the dendrites a lot! Thank you so much! The nodule I picked up was windowed...which is a fancy word for cut or broken! LOL - That first slice was the piece I took off the broken spot...so that face will end up being the bottom of a cab. In fact, I have that on dop ready to be worked! I almost worked it last night in fact...but I decided I was too tired! LOL
