Here is a cab I made today from a slab of Nydegger Plume Agate I got from realrockhound. Thanks! The cab came from the upper left corner of the slab, in, just past the first little bit of plume. That is nice. I wonder how that would look as a doublet with something darker behind it. just thinking out loud.

Looks so beautiful. When it is backed by the green wax it looks even more delicious, which made me think, some green serpentine as the material for backing might work.

It’s gorgeous, but too rich for my blood. Guessing there was never much on the market, so I am unlikely to find any in my bins *starts dreaming of estate sales* |

Guessing there was never much on the market, so I am unlikely to find any in my bins *starts dreaming of estate sales* relatively small deposit, mined out in the late 60’s to early 70’s on the old nyedegger ranch in Paulina oregon. Was a central Oregon classic. Some even included pink, red, and orange plume. But that material was very limited |
