pebblesky - What an awesome idea! Thanks for being willing to do this!! Okay...I'm not sure if this is the one I'm most "proud of", but it's my favorite rock I've tumbled so far. Mainly because my wife took one look at it after it was finished and said it looked like a Rocky Mountain Oyster! So, I keep it right on top of the "keeper rocks" on the living room coffee table! LOL Okay, I remembered seeing Rocking Mountain Oyster mentioned once in RTH (maybe by you as well) but still had to do a Google search. It is not only an excellent-looking display but also a great chat topic The timestamp is 13:33:57 GMT and your raffle number is 33. Thanks for sharing!

Here's mine a piece of black lace Agate. I can never get tired of enjoying these laces and orbs. The swirls and labyrinths are super cool! Does it belong to Mexican Crazy Lace? The timestamp is 14:18:37 and your raffle number is 18. Thanks for sharing!

LOL I even checked their normal sizes and determined that the one displayed on your coffee table is an outlier.

I bought about a pound from somewhere online, probably Facebook, and that's what they called it.

I did a little bit of internet sleuthing. I found a couple of pictures of cabs that looked just like this material and they just called it Crazy Lace Agate. I'm sure somebody that's more familiar with it will comment eventually.

Here's one of my personal favorites. A fantastic agate from the Larremore Ranch near Alpine TX.

Here's one out of my last batch... I didn't think this would shine as well as it did!

Here's one out of my last batch... I didn't think this would shine as well as it did! Yes I would guess the rough didn't look as flattering as it is now! The timestamp is 8:35:45 GMT and your raffle number is 35. Thanks for sharing!

Sorted out more stuff to add to the prize bag. Truffle Chalcedony. When tumbling these, I am not successful in keeping their bumpy surfaces. One piece I tumbled became completely rounded up and not characteristic any more although very shiny. I prefer their untumbled look. Larger pieces. Some jaspers are fine and colorful. Might be fun to cut. The black white piece should be some fossil. The piece on the far right looks like petrified wood but I am not sure. Indonesian Fossil Coral. 3 slabs and 2 end cuts.

pebblesky very cool contest and thread! I have one rock in particular that I'm proud of how it turned out. It's 100% tumbled which I have never done a whole lot of after discovering cab making. I'll post it when I can get a good picture done.
