I missed the cut off for the poll but #2, 7 and 8 would be my picks.
Looking forward to seeing what you make with which ever one you do.

Now I know what kinda doublet to cut for a future contest 😂 Win/Win. all those cabs are nice. The color on 2 just works so well with the plume.

Nice. The doublet would have definitely been my vote too, but the Birthday girl Elizabeth wore her native silver Groovie when we went out last night, so I had to share a pic after seeing you have some too.

You have a lovely wife! I don't think I have seen a picture of her before. The silver pattern is awesome and I love that bail treatment. Totally Groovie. She's rockin' it!

Those came out really nice Tela. Hope the work helped you get out of your funk! Not sure how I missed this before. The doublet really did stand out. Count me in as another who would like to see you wrap #4. I have a few of those shapes too and would be interested to see what you would come up with.

Well shit, when you get out of a slump you rock and roll Beauties both !
I really like the doublet - Leave it to Tela, to figure out how to nicely use a teardrop upside down !
Beyond my brain. I see your "halo" as an extension of the smoke plume rising. Really nice the way you tied the wrap into the stone pattern. And I really like the darkened recesses on the bail - a nice touch !
The Ruby in Fuchsite is equally beautiful & quite feminine with the added pearls. But the twisted wire does it for me on this one. Very nicely done.
Thanks for sharing them,
Patty

I'd like to be wrapping right now, but I can't. I have to take a break for my hands.
I think I only have 1 of #4s shape, but I do plan to wrap it soon- maybe next. I don't really care for the cut, so I'll do something to work against it maybe. (I know what I mean...)

Well thank you so much for noticing! Originally, I was thinking of doing a leaf shape with it and extending the plumes into the tips of a leaf. I scrapped that idea and simplified it with this. Yes, my intention was to work with the plumes and kinda draw the eye to the best ones. The bottom was to have some beads wired in, but after I made the "leaves" I decided that was good enough. I think it's balanced enough.
With the ruby in fuschite, I wanted something pretty and feminine. It was supposed to have a woven bail, but I blew it with the wrong wire and had to settle for this. I really like that twisted wire. It is sold like that. It's a nicer twist than if you did it yourself. Rio sells it, or at least, they did.

I have wrapped at least one that's the same shape as number 4. A piece of dino bone. It looks a lot like a lot of my other wraps though. I turned it over from the way yours is in the pic. Pointy end on the bottom.

There are pics of Elizabeth in a lot of my hounding and traveling posts, a bit different from a night on the town.

Pointy end on the bottom. I have one that's been sitting on my table for MONTHS that I did with gallery wire. I need to redo the wire on the bail area...it's too thick. rockjunquie - Those both came out fantastic! Nice to see you jump back on the horse...per se! I love the "inverted" position choice on the teardrop shape.
