I have some calibrated cabs set in cast premade sterling silver mountings. So now I am wondering what a fair price would be? The 18” chains are sterling silver and are Rolo, boxed, unseamed snake chains. The 25x18mm was going to ask $135.00 each The smaller ones are 16x12mm $65.00 each My question is, is my price in the ballpark? Or to high or low? $135.00 each The 25x18 are 2 red/ pink laguna agates The other 2 are dendritic agate from Indonesia the price for Indonesian agate was double the price of high grade laguna. The price I have for these are $65.00 each The others are 4 Montana agate & size 16x12mm Then the dark blue is tiger also called hawks eye Last is another 16x12mm Indonesian agate All input appreciated good or bad! Thank you Yeah I know I suck at centering the patterns

Great looking set of pendants. I’m not sure of their value but I think you did a good job on capturing the patterns. The polish really “pops” too.

I think for now I am going to keep those prices the reason being time involved slabbing, preforming & finished polishing.
The laguna agate I have to lookup price per pound ? $35-$45 a pound The Indonesian agate cough- cough choking at $80.00 per pound that 16x12mm is sporting half way up from the bottom a cats eye. I have a matching ring with a better cats eye & bigger stone.
Then the cost of replacing the premade mountings & chains. Since I bought the premade silver the price has just slowly kept creeping up.

I think you could go a little lower on the big ones, but the smaller ones seem right. I was just at a shop and the pricing was similar. I paid 30 a piece for small circles with tourmaline chips in them. It was base metal and the chains were a crappy afterthought. Still I thought it was a good deal considering how rare Maine tourmaline is and how hard it is to get. So, I think yours are a good range.

My chains, mountings are both Sterling silver the mounting are also solid cast mountings and have some weight to them. I would never use cheap base metal trash because I want good repeat customers. Can’t count on good repeat customers selling junk.
Yes maine tourmaline is pretty scarce lately matter of a fact the last several years have been that way.

Yup that’s what I was gonna do with these. Tumble them and see where it goes from there. Maybe earrings not big enough for a pendant

Pricing is always one of the hardest parts for me. I'd say your close enough to the ballpark that you go for it. It's a lot easier to lower the price later on than raise it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Where and how do you plan to sell them? Temporary changes beyond my control prevented me from selling at gem shows & certain craft fairs Honestly, it's all dependent on the demographic you're selling to. To a casual observer that might seem expensive although it being a sterling set would lessen the blow. If you didn't tell me the dendritic agate variety that you made those pendants out of, I would have guessed a variety of lace agate. So the short of it is, it's a fair price if the person you're selling to knows what the material is. You're going to have to make sure that the material is known by the buyer, maybe add the information to how you're selling. I.E. "Rare Top Grade Indonesian Agate" or something to that sort. Sorry, the advertising worker of 25 years is coming out . - Rob
