Thanks again folks. Seems like a popular thread, so I'll make a point of keeping these photo links intact.
This Ocean Jasper is my favourite tumble I've done. I'm thrilled that so many others seem to have enjoyed it as much as I did!

If those were sitting by my computer I'd never get anything done! I'd be looking at them, touching them, rearranging them, (no I wouldn't be kissing them! at least not that you guys would know...) lining them up on my desk from favorite to most favorite, showing everyone that walked by my door...hmm good thing I can't "Don" anything yet - I'd lose my job! oh yeah - Don - don't ever photograph your tumbles in the buff...

Hi, Don, I happened to see the photos of tumbled ocean jasper which you posted on Oct 18, 2006 in this forum. When I saw them, I just cannot believe my eyes! I am myself a big ocean jasper fan and I never see somebody who made a so amazing polishing!!! I have a web shop on Esty.com with the same name as my forum name, and I make jewelry of semi-gemstones. ocean jasper from Madagascar is really my favorite, most of my jewelries are made from ocean jasper, though I never had one which has the same wonderful polishing effects as yours stones. (I also saw the other ocean jasper photos which you posted on Jul 25, 2009).
Just several days ago, I lost my favorite ocean jasper bracelet which I spend years to collect bead by bead, this really breaks my heart, now I am planning to make another one for myself.
So, I know what I will ask might not be possible, but I still want to try, I am wondering if these ocean jasper stones on the photos are still there with you, and if yes, it is possible to sell one or two to me, I already collect some good ones, I go to all kinds of Gem Expo often, but in Europe is not easy to find nice ocean jasper.
Of course, this is just a ask, if it is not possible, you can just ignore it, no problem. thank you to read all this. and my e-mail is : jasminewf@hotmail.com
have a nice day and happy new year. Jasmine

Beautiful OJ, great shine. Can you even get material that nice anymore? That was seven years ago...

Remember this as one of the awesomest tumbles posts ever *L* and probably one of the most expensive tumble lots ever. Dang rough was like $15 per pound first time ever saw it at Quartzite. Gotta say, I still wanna tumble some though. I must have some around in one of my tubs somewhere....Mel

j2b2 on e=bay sells some tumble rough on occasion. He's in quartzite right now but will be back this spring and may offer up some more when he gets back. The gem shop also has some they are also in Arizona right now but you may be able to get some from them right now by web or calling there store. George

I just bought a slab of this material on E-Bay, definitely metamorphic spheroids.
Mom Nature sure knows how to keep me mesmerized!
