The pigs in the pics are javelinas. They are small, but sometimes meaner than all get out, especially when young are around.
We have two different kinds in E Texas. One is a domestic pig gone feral (bad enough) and a Russian Wild Boar that some idiot brought over here and turned loose to multiply. They can go over 400 pounds and are the kind that will not only eat you to the bone, they will eat the bone also.
I've only seen one in the wild and I was mighty impressed. Curt

Yeppers. Trey told me not to let the dogs run loose because the Javelina will kill them. Nasty little porkers. I watched out for them when I was off by myself, too. They're way scarier than the rattlesnakes if you ask me. :oS What is Hooba anyway? I missed that one...good name for my next dog, though.

That's a great piece Mark. I'd save that one for your first cab when you get your machine done. Which reminds me, I'll get the dimensions and pics for you.

This is the inside of one of the nodules from the basalt at woodward, within a 6x6 foot square I took out nodules of different matirial that contained crystals, red plume, clear and solid agate. This is what I have picked out so far that can't be cut or tumbled, due to being just surface mostly and I liked the piece of basalt with the agate in it. I knew I would not be able to do anything with them, (haven't found the part open egg yet Dan) but thought they would look good in my large aquarium next time I fill it up. Before I get pm's about putting tropical fish in with this stuff, I only keep native fish like crappie, pumpkinseed etc.
