Wow what a variety of colors and patterns. Jamie, that's a heck of a nice red plume with sagenite and those odd fortification plus moss examples are unlike any stuff I've ever seen from Woodward. Thanks for posting all the pics you guys. It's great fun looking at all the wild agate types you rounded up!....mel

DD Fandangtastic!
If I lived in Az, I would be praying for those flash floods so they would wash up a bunch more stuff. I know around here, I sit around waiting for rain and as soon as the creeks go down, I'm off to the playgrounds!

Wow Ed and Jamie! That is some amazing material and patterns are unbelieveable! I guess if that's not incentive for trying to get down to the next Woodward Blitz...nothing is. I love reading this thread. Steve

Another week and Mailman will be back with us. Whoever can don't forget to put Dorothy, Susan and last but not least Fergie in the group picture.

Cher, break out the bouncing droolers! Man, those are some nice pieces Sheri. If you ever get tired of looking at them, send them to me and we'll find out what's inside!

Ain't nuttin in them Stoner...so Sheri can just send them to me and I will throw them in a little ditch I have out back to help keep the dirt from washing away..... Those make real good filler...yup..filler..that's what they are....

Pho, I think you are a bit full of filler yourself. LOL Thanks for all of the nice comments everyone. Guess what came in the mail yesterday and the day before? Well, on Thursday I got a box of rocks from Kim, she packed up a flat rate box full of my woodward agates I had collected but left behind. I had to be picky because my rocks were flying home with me. Thank you so much Kim, what a great surprise. Then, yesterday I got a box from Condor, he made a bunch of beef jerky for me and man its the best stuff I have ever tasted. I did well at the woodward ranch but I made out like a bandit when I got home.. Thanks so much to both of you.

OMG the variety of Material- Amazing!!! I can't wait to be there next year- I'm working on my budget but I can see that I'm gonna have to alot MORE $'s for shipping- No way I could leave any of this stuff behind!!! SO you guys think 10 FRB's will be enough? Oh and Jamie- PLEASE KEEP em COMING!!!! seems to me that your nailed some of the best of the best (of course ALL the material so far has been stunning!!!)

Jamie that third picture looks like a lave flow as seen from space. It still amazes me what nature can do with a simple rock.

I grovel at the feet of desertdweller, stoner and others at the Blitz. What fantastic specimens! I am not worthy.

Oh come on Mitch, I know you had to have gotten some of this stuff. Even a blind person could just scoop up a handful of rocks and wind up having something nice! I'm waithing to see Drupe's pics of his haul. I want to see some of the Chrysocolla he found out there! Next time I'm following Jamie around picking up what she misses. Yes, she did miss some nice pieces. One of Dan's best finds was when he was following Jamie!
