Well thank you, for the offer, Jack! But Ron was able to send a copy to me after I provided him with the correct email address! For some reason, mixed up my email address when I posted here the first time. Go figure! Yup, I read the system of polishing at the beginning of this site and learned almost everything I know from it. Totally new to this rock tumbling - love it, but don't know near enough to be satisfied. ALL sources of info are most welcome and have picked up pointers from the Guide that Ron sent. Thanks again, for your offer to help!

Would love a copy of your file. Since I've started tumbling and jewelry making I've kept a diary/log of the different stones, minerals, pet-wood loads that I've done and I've found that by keeping a log of the different things I've tried to make each batch better has helped me narrow down what is needed for each type of load that is done. Your file will be a great addition. Send it to jrtrio1@bellsouth.net Thanks!

I'm trying to tumble Apache tears for the 1st time & am having trouble getting them to take a high polish. I'm using a 15 lb Thumbler. I've been told to use sugar, but maybe I didn't use enough. Tried polish grit with it. Still cloudy. Any hints? Would really appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanks much, JoAnne
