I am just starting out in the polishing world; I got into it when I bought a Chicago Electric dual 3lb. from Harbor freight. Next day, the belt broke. So I've been reading up on it and I think I'm gonna start doing some rocks. I bought the tumbler originally to polish chainmaille that I make. This book looks like it ought to be really helpful.

Ron,
Sounds like something I need. I try to polish tumble a lot of rocks as give away to local kids and shows and sometimes have fits getting the polish I would like.
