On one of the cacher forums I post on, there is a thread called "HOLY CRAP!" for posting pics/stories of those things you happen to come across that make you go...  "HOLY CRAP!" ;D I figured we could have a little fun with a thread like this on the RTH board. I will start it off with something rock related but it doesn't necessarilly have to be about rocks as long as it has a high mutual "HOLY CRAP" factor for people here.  Now, as impossible as this is to pull off in real life, I don't want anyone to be upset or offended by the content. Just think twice before posting something that may have been a big hit at the bachelor party but may not play off so great in a public forum.  Hmm-kaaay!  Now, to start things off.... For those of you who've ever dreamed of standing in a river of red jasper...  HOLY CRAP! |

Okay, this might not match a river of red jasper...but this is me and my kid standing on a boulder of pure chert (as ID'd by the staff at Jasper National Park). Heck, it's too big for my tumbler anyway ;D, but all the same... HOLY CRAP!  |

I have a rock that takes up a good portion of my front yard.  You don't get the full brunt of how big this sucker is until you look at it from my neighbor's yard.  You going to tell us where that river of red jasper is? |

:oHOLY CRAP! Petrified Wood is everywhere in NE Arizona! Here is an example of the stuff just laying around at Hubbell Trading Post in Ganado.    They've got so much they use it to make chairs...  Sundial pedestals...  Even chimneys!!!  Of course I was at this historical site and all I cared about were the rocks! ;D |

Debs, she wasn't a plumper, she was really a beautiful woman, big breasts and about 5'10" about 150 pounds.
I was gonna drop an ice cube down there but her boyfriend was alot bigger than me, and meaner looking.

come to think of it, i can think of a few.
but speaking of holy crap, i bet none of you have been to iowa's prairie and fossil park. i dont have any pics on the net to post, but i can assure you, it is one awesome spot. can you tumble fossils?
