I just hiked over 50km on foot in the last four days over some of the most difficult terrain on Vancouver Island, got a total of about 16hrs of sleep & racked up over 600km on the truck doing the "Ironman" of GPS adventure races! Boy do my feet/knees/hips/back hurt!
My team did however finish in a winning position!
I am not permitted to disclose any more information until the official announcement is made on VIGPS.com by the "KFWB X-treme GPS Team", when the rest of the teams that are still in the race have finished...

I thought I would bring this thread back up with this...  Yep, that's a good feeling...  In case you're wondering, that is the prize money my team splits for the "contest" a week ago... Trust me, we EARNED it! ...but nonetheless, HOLY CRAP!  They didn't "bother" writing a cheque... |

hey kids,
Am I the only one who thinks maybe the slab pic is a fake? The sphere's look normal with shadows & stuff, maybe even the nodule...but that slab looks distorted, no proper shadows & where his hand is resting, it looks cut out.

The slab looks distorted because it is a bowl and not a slab.

Sorry Baz, but I don't think you were looking at the same pic I was. The picture says, "Biggest Tiger eye slab." Not Bowl.
