Thats real good. Some things need to be aired out, and run it's course. We all seem kinda like a family, we sometimes fight like family. I don't agree with censorship or even a lockdown of a thread at one persons request. Just my thoughts....  |

I agree with earthdog, and in fact sent a pm to Mark. Also it seems that at least in part Hermatite came back because of a post on there. I was part of it, and I don't feel I said anything bad about anyone, I just pointed out facts that happened and how I felt about it, I was not mad at anyone, because everyone has a right to their opinion. Besides there was a lot of fun in that thread also, but I guess that went unnoticed.

Ok - the vote for the Karma facility is on the general board. Soz I missed that I had censored something. Im all for a vote on such topics. Personally I like the Karma thing - I didnt get a lot but I thought it was a good idea. Its up to you guys - please check over the vote post on the general board. I missed the drama. As when i see post not about rocks. I rarley look, or in the case of this thread, wonder what censurship took place. And now i see. It happens, thats also why i dont discusse much stuff on this baord that not about rocks. We can all dig our holes much faster that way. Tolerance is what i live by and give. Karma ment nothing to me, but i did exault people. Suppose i would only do that, but i myself siad i may of smited someone becasue of how there tone was read by me. What can you do except look away? I think the most important point would be to keep all stuff not rock related, drieclty in this forum and not any other.

happy 4th mark ------ and im sure the post got locked just because its on our main forum if it was in Life, the Universe and Everything im sure mark would have let it run it course because your right earth we are like a family here and im allways tellin my older brother ONE OF THESE DAYS hahahaha and if everyone dont get to have there say it will never go away --- i wasent here for all that but i just read it and it sounded like me and my brother --- he calls me a philly thug and dont be bringin that s--t around here and i call him a jersey woosie and he moved cause he couldent handle philly hahaha then next day we go fishing hahaha so im hopein tony cools off and decides to come back cause we finaly got hermy back and that made me smile --- hey it was a hot day and i dont wanna see a few beers and the heat stop anyone from hangin with us --- its ok not to agree with all you read but dont quit ---if i had only one friend left here id still come back and hang out with him or her,, and i never put anyone down for speakin there mind so im hopein my friend tony comes back --- and earth me and bill just had wings and bills own baked beans with onion and sausage and what not so im full and in need of a real belly buster joke so if ya got any layin around post it man hahahaha

It was by my request after seeing members here tear at each other and some leaving because of it. I didn't want to see the fighting anymore and that's a damn poor excuse saying that things needed to be aired out. They should be aired out in private not on the main forum. Jimmy, I can't beleive you consider that censorship because I cared about people getting hurt and wanted it to stop. The only reason it's run it's course is because we lost two more members over it and because it was locked down. That's not censorship, it's common sense. There's still going to be tension and problems over it, just like there was and still is over Herm leaving. Yes, it was me that requested it, forgive me for caring for some of the best friends I've never met. Enjoy your fighting and let it ruin this wonderful forum!  It's no fun to come here anymore when all you find is fighting and bickering.  It's certainly not condusive to inviting new members to see crap like that on the main page. If my caring about people's feelings was censorship then I'll censor myself right out of here and won't be a bother to anyone anymore. |

Hey Cher, if I weren't married and you weren't married, I'd ask you to marry me!  I guess I need to be totally honest and admit, I haven't been around much lately lately because I have just plain been put off by all the bickering. There are a lot of people here that have come to mean an awful lot to me. I know that may sound strange since we've never met, but trust me, these friendships can run very deep. It hurt me very deeply to see herm get nailed so hard. She is a terrific person, and if you slam her, you slam me. Cher, you are another example of this. I know that I've faced enough adversity in my life, and I know that many of you have faced similar hardships, but I never stop looking for the beauty in life. And that is what this site is all about, the beauty in life. I hope to have something working soon on the pet wood that Susan, another very dear friend of mine, sent me. I thing I see some really beautiful rock there! Ron |

im at kims house in mississippi i love it here ron the people are great and bill and kim (cant ask for better friends) and i just love lookin at the open farm land i grew up in the city i never seen so much unused space hahaha well its farmed but you know what i mean they havent put up row houses cause its still grass hahaha

I don't think the Karma thing had much to do with what happened, earlier events caused someone to make a remark, that would have been brought out sooner or later in another thread, that is my opinion. Plus when a member makes a statement and someone disagrees with it, are we to just say nothing, and let a member be hurt that way? I don't call that bickering, I call it an issue, and all I did was give some facts on what really happened, and are we forgetting that Hermatite is back, at least partly because she read the post? I do agree that thread did not belong on main page, but that is certainly not the first time that has happened, wrong thread on wrong forum. I am certainly sorry Tony is gone, I hope he comes back, he was an asset to this board, as far as the other person is concerned, don't care one way or the other.
