Some kids are just evil...throwing eggs is a joke, slashing tires is not. Hope you catch em and make em pay. They need to learn some respect for others. csroc

Okay cina, I grew up where all police are suspect. We maintained our law ourselves. If it were me, justice would be dispensed at the muzzle of a .44! Ron ps. Hey cina, I run big tires on my Jeep and truck, and I sympathize. People just don't understand just how much it costs for those tires.

File a police report. I think if your property is vandalized, your home owners insurance might cover it even if it is part of the car.

I agree with Ron, I spell justice in quite a few ways, 12 gauge, 7.62 mm, 8mm, just to name a few!!!

I feel your pain. Mischief Night took on a whole new meaning here. My BIL had his car broken into and his GPS, CB and Radio stolen. Just so that they wouldn't be caught, the kids cut all the lines on his outdoor and Halloween lights! They broke into five more cars on the street and stole another one down the next street! Last night, our daughter went trick-or-treating in this same neighborhood (it's supposed to be security patrolled) and we watched teenagers dressed in black with hoods on...ride by on bikes and steal candy bags from other little kids! I'm ranting! I know! I'm just so sick of teenagers anymore! What's wrong with these kids and why don't their parents ever do anything? I'd better stop typing because this could end up being a really long post. Hope everything works out for you Cina.

Well the good and the bad! We have one 14yo in jail this morn how very sad he got under my truck I must have dosed off I did not hear him then I woke up in a hurry when I heard him hit his head I stepped out of my van put a foot on his chest and called 911 if you have not seen a pic of me yet I am not a little lady he was screaming but could not get out the offerer that came out found a wire cutter in the kids hand I did not see it till he was out I was told he was trying to cut my brake line I have to go to court now and this kids Mom had the nerve to show up at my door at 1am and yell at me for stepping on her kid the sad thing is that this little 14yo is going to go to jail and from what I was told it could be for a long time because he could have killed my kids and I well I am just to tired to think at this point I will keep you all up to date on this drama. I have a 14yo little girl and my head and hart are heavy I just don't want to see this kids life lost because his Mom is not a good patent but on the other hand I don't want to see someone in a grave either tires can be replaced liefs can't what was he thinking trying to cut brake lines! Thank you for your support Cina

Wow Cina...Good for you, Caught him in the act, that is amazing! Things like that (justice) seem to happen very rarely. but obviously they do happen.
I cannot believe you were able to hold him until enforcement arrived, that must have been scary.
I hope we are able to keep him confined for a good long time and we can show him another path to life than the one he is currently on.
Hard to comment on the Mother's act; we all love our children and must protect them from harm but that is an odd reaction.
I hope you receive monetary compensation for these awful incidents.
Quick followup on KD's comment>>>How many times do we hear, "That sort of thing doesn't happen around here" or "We never even lock our doors at night". The truth is that this sort of thing happens everywhere because people are people and parents are parents. We come in all shapes, sizes, and mannerisms imaginable. csroc

Yeah....like a zit.
Don't you lose ONE SECOND of sleep about this child. We have choices we make in our lives. Possibly, this could be the one that makes this kid rethink his. It's too late for the knothead mother. (what a loser)
My sister-in-law is a wonderful, loving kind woman with a very wicked sense of humor. She has a son same age as my daughter. (27) This boy had EVERY advantage in his life that anyone could possibly ask for. He showed signs very early on of the problems to come later. (lying, deceit, damage to others property and cruelty to animals) I believe he was about 8 when he started acting out. As of today, he's MIA. (thank you Jesus) His Mom & Stepdad just renewed their 25 year vows & he was not there. I guess the final straw for his Mom was when he broke into their home (where he grew up) & stole about $30,000 worth of things & collections they had. Like I said Cina...we all have choices to make in our lives. Let's hope your young felon now starts making the good ones.

I never had the keys out of my truck till this week how sad times change As far as justice goses I am not sure it felt that way it just made me sad as this kid-o was never given the chance his Mom showed up drunk from a Hollween party and made me out to be the bad guy but in a way that is how I feel and as for holding him down it must have been a hell of a sight I had his coat under one foot and his chest under the other I am not sure at all how he did not get away.

Yep - All things happen for a reason. This event could be the biggest blessing yet for that young man. You may have helped keep him out of bigger trouble in the future. It sounds like you were the right person for the job... lol. Glad to hear that you weren't hurt Cina... that little brat could've killed someone!!
