not blonde TODAY? um, like, i was BLONDE yesterday and might be tomorrow....but today? nope, i checked.
we had friends that raised chickens. the rooster would attack the lady every time she went out to feed them. she'd defend herself with an aluminum garbage can lid. one day, a weasel got into the hen house, she got the shotgun and, well, blew the henhouse apart, including said offending rooster.
they started buying store bought eggs after that.

I have a funny story: My parents brought us (me & the 2 kids) to Hungary a few years ago to see dad's family. They had 4 or 6 chickens who laid an egg each per day - my son kept scarring them each time he'd go by the coop - we were there for about 14 days, the last 6 days they didn,t lay eggs cuz they were too stressed... hehe - they started laying eggs again once we left - we all thought it was pretty funny the animals really didn't like my then 2 1/2 year old son - who frightened everything that walked..

LOL. That's normal. Birds are meant to be food and they instinctively know how preditors act. Most preditors have a tendency to stay very still and quiet and then suddenly spring into action and make noise. Birds think the quick movements and loud sounds kids make are the same thing. Kids scare the daylights out of them. I have 3 birds and they don't like my 10 year old. The cockatiel hisses at him and the 2 parrotlets bite him every chance they get. I've tried explaining to him why you move slow and quietly around birds but he doesn't pay any attention. He is getting better though at dodging little blue and green bundles of flying fury though.
