ok, so maybe it was something your Mom made for you when you were little and didn't feel well, or maybe a special treat you got when you were good, but what do you STILL make for yourself when you don't feel well/have the blues ? my all time comfort food is a bowl full of boiled elbow macaroni with salt and butter on it. also, that Liptons dry chicken soup mix with those teeny weeny noodles that look like mechanical pencil leads (just add water and simmer for 5 minutes). and every now and then, a bowl of sliced bananas in milk with sugar on top? what's yours? Anything with gravy. In our family, gravy is considered a beverage.

Dang, my belly can attest to the ice cream and chocolate I love but I guess the best is pork ribs, cole slaw and cheesy scalloped potatoes....Mel

Chocolate (the old faithful) Cheesecake (a relatively new obsession for me) My boss makes a mean kedgeree - something I never thought I'd like but I just can't get enough of it when I'm in the right mood.

Home-made macaroni & cheese! I love buttered noodles, too! As for the sweet tooth, I'd have to go with ice cream, too. I love vanilla ice cream with cut up bananas and chocolate syrup or hot fudge!

Fried bologna is great or fried Taylor Ham is to die for, Deep fried hotdogs (Rippers from Ruts Hut) .
My wife makes Meat Loaf everytime she wants something or my agreement on something; it works!
