Well I managed to burn halfway through my 350 diamond belt already, and I'm still climbing the learning curve, but I already find myself with more cabs than I know what to do with! Some of you will want close-ups, so here: 3 carnelian cabs and a handful of Montana Agates

Looks to me like you're having a lot of fun. For just learning, those look pretty darn nice.

Good golly! Your first weeks output looks like my yearly output! I've clearly got to cab more and slab and rockhunt less *L*. Nice looking cabs too. keep up the good work!....mel

Nice work rally. You have been busy. Your favs look really nice. You should do groups of close ups, cuz we all like close shots of everything. Oh yea, nice PJ

It's been really bad, typically up 'till 1-2AM and pretty groggy through the day at work, then back at it in the evening.
Last night I did sound for a band that played right up 'till 2- which then was 3, didn't get packed up until 4, home in bed around 5 then up to go do a rally today at 9...
I am forcing myself to go to Nashville this week mostly to get away from my rocks, but also because work is sending me there....

Wow, you really worked out the "cab in bulk" technique. I take it from the sea of cabs you have got there that you have your machine dialed in. That's such a beautiful sight. There's so much to see, I don't know where to start. I like the poppy jasper bunches and also the ones that are your favorites. I am a little concerned. You say you went through a 350 grit belt. Was it used to begin with? A new belt should last a lot longer. I have done about 80 cabs on my set and they show very little wear. Whatever the case, that spread is a sight to see. Great job. Steve
