*LOL* Good morning all,
Well, I've gone back through the entire list and still no winner. I never dreamed this would last this long. THis is kinda cool. I'm finally getting some payback for all the times you guys have fried my brain with those hair pulling, frustrating rock identification contests *L*. Anyway, unbelievably, though things have shifted back and forth a bit, we're still left with one very close guess and about half a dozen fairly close guesses. That's about all I can say except keep on trying....mel

OK, just got back from the Raptor Center where I spent the morning working with the neat beasties so I'm in a good mood so here's one final clue and it should really help a lot of you out.
The largest hunk of jasper you see in the right side of the picture weighs almost 3 1/2# by itself.
