OK folks, a giant clue: Though quartz gems are often named after locations, if you pay close attention to the sets posted, you'll see things more clearly. Do not confuse location sets with quartz gem type sets.. Y'all should get a bunch of correct answers out of this clue. good luck....mel

OK apparently now the clue is not stated clearly enough. What I'm trying to say is you should decide whether you are dealing with a set of quartz gem types or a set of quartz gem collecting locations before you answer the questions as some quartz gem locations have several quartz gem types present at that location.

OK akansan and NMrocks have both picked up correct answers ( on some of the toughies too) and are tied at 28/32

Hey - no fair folks - I really do need to sleep!  I'm stuck on the easy ones too! But Yeahaaaa! What an excellent contest. Yup I've been hitting the websites but I found somthing! Mel - Don't get stressed Sir! It's meant to be fun all round! And I for one am enjoying this far more than guess the weight! Someone once set a challenge to find a single word google search that returns only a single result - I got exactly this from Lahontanite - Kudos Sir! I've changed my guesses 3 times and cant get past 20. As much as I would like those slabs I should probably bow out. I've spent more time on this contest then I would making cabs out of the slabs. ;D

I hear ya Tony - I'm so frustrated I could scream! I've been working on the same 4 answers for days and I've spent so much time on the computer my back is killing me. Mel keeps telling me it's obvious.
Thanks for the great contest, Mel. I just wish someone would win so I could go back to my real life. (It really has been fun).
