OMG!!! Wicked Tinkers? Only the best. Whiskey supper plays here at the least once a day. I only wish it was video also to see the intensity.
Haha I sound like a school girl.

Guys, I put in for the rest of my vacation time, first week of November, the first Saturday through the second Sunday. Someone - DAN? - should probably contact the Woodwards and see if this is even a possibility. Weather should be OK that time of year...Mark, you are welcome to ride the whole way with me if you want to fly into Albq International and we could split the cost of gas - that would help me out AND I'd have someone to change a flat *just in case*...I have 4 Wicked Tinker CDs.
I seriously don't want to wait until April to go back! :oS

I was planning a weekend trip in October but can wait a week or so. Will check to see if the wife can get some time off then too. She wants to go out there too.

Thanks Susan, I will put a pencil to it and see how much it would cost to fly, and time spent on the road. I would have to drive to either KC of Tulsa to fly out, and either one is three and a half to four hour drive which is a fourth of the way there. I'll figure it out though.

I was thinking today (Remember when the Earth stopped for five seconds? I caused that Ha) before we contact the Woodwards about a scouting trip we should have a idea about it. So far everyone that has spoken up put themselves down for tents in April (Don't know about Tom), So the cabin would not be needed? But perhaps we could talk them into turning on the electricity to the outside outlets for a fee.
I think everything else can be worked out between now and then.
Like Susan I can't wait until next April, November will be hard enough.

Just a thought..but isn't November deer season? Something to think about. The cabin might be in use by hunters.

Talked to Jan this am, she said first week of Nov will be fine. Nothing after that until end of December. They shut down before deer season begins to allow the deer to settle down. I can get everything arranged again for us but I will only be able to attend for a weekend. Can not take anymore time off work. Count me in! Let me know what yall wanna do!!

Hey Susan, if Gil doesn't go maybe I'll fly into Albq and ride down with you too. Besides, I'm the one with the experience of changing a tire enroute to WWR!

ED,
You're more than welcome, but I have a dinky little truck with a bench seat...not very comfortable for more than 2 people. Whatever, we'll work it out! I'M GOING BACK TO WOODWARD! Nothing short of death could keep me away. And Sheri, I'll be there in April '08, as well.
Now we have to talk Jamie into moving her AZ trip to TX...
XOXOXO, you guys! ::)S

That may work out for the best Susan. It looks more and more like I will be driving. Between plane trip, shipping, and time I think I would be ahead.

I will need a start and end date on this trip to see if or when the wife can come out too. She needs advance warnings to get time off....so how many days is this trip gonna be and what is the start date?
