Sheri....are these dates set in stone? My kids really want to go, but their Spring Break is the week of the 17th. Obviously can't change dates for one person, but if that week would work that would be great.

Kids are our future, and since this is the perfect opportunity for great learning, and one awesome spring break, then I vote that WWR Blitz II be moved to the week of the 17th. All in favor say "Ay." (I will also start this thread anew so that others who have said they will attend, but are not keeping up with it, can see it.) Condor

Would it be ok for me to pop in on a day trip? I can't stay all night but would love to meet ya'll! It's 260 something miles for me one way! But that will depend on whether I still have time off coming.

AgateHeaven - You're welcome to join us for the day or for the week. You may want to check with RockHobbit for more info...
Susan - I'll be there... sitting by the fire under the moonless Texas sky listening for Hoobas! ;D

I am planning to be there the whole week. Ok more than planning, I WILL be there the whole week. This time I will not forget my chairs, those metal "Butt suckers" really take the heat out you.

I'm planning on going, but it might just be for the weekend. It'll right before my 6 month mark at the new job, and I'm not certain how lenient they'll be with time off yet. But I'll be there for a couple days, at least.

Sheri I was going to send you a pm about this but feel like if public perhaps there would be better feedback. The reason we did it over Spring break last year was because it was over Spring break and more people were able to go because of that. There is also the heat issue, there is one member that was there last year who told me the other day that if it was any hotter then they would not have been able to stand it (no it was not Pho).
Me, I don't care. I will be there for whatever date it is set at, and while I realize this date is better for Trey and Jan to be more involved I would hate that some of us could not attend because of it.
Just something to think and talk about.

Hi, We would love to do the march 10th-16th. I think it is easier for us to get that time off. We also go and see a friend for her birthday 85 this year.(well in march) This is if Sheri can't make it. Also Jan and Trey wanted to spent more time with us and that was why the date was changed. School break makes it easier for some of us to go. What do you all think. We are open!!!!!! Mailman and SilverLass

I am not picky about dates but need to know ASAP so I can put in for the time off. Time off at my job is decided on a first come, first serve basis and I'm sure Spring Break will be a week that is desired by many. Once I've put in for the time, I cannot change the dates. I have a problem with the heat, as well, and I thought the weather last year was perfect! Please make up your minds and let me know ASAP.
Of course, I want Gil to be able to go as he was the life of the party as far as I'm concerned...STUPID STOOP ROCK ON!
