The morning news in Tucson today had two very interesting nuggets:
1. Illegal immigrants have cost Arizona citizens 1.25 billion dollars this year in lost earnings because of lower wages paid to illegals.
2. Between October 2006 and October 2007 there have been 29 incursions of the Mexican military across the US border.

i wasnt going to post to this thread...cause i dont make a lot of sense when getting in to deep discussions....just my old mind ;D...my little head is filled with math formulas and stuff ;D cp had read this thread....and was asking me about dumbing down american children...appereantly it was something mel said....i didnt know what to say. he then wanted to know if that was why he was instructed to spend 20 minutes of his science class....helping the mexican kids...learn what he already knows....he is top notch in science....but yet struggles in math....go figure  yet he gets no help in math...others are instructed to help the mexicans....and yet he is told to study harder...you can do it...by the teachers. this is so not cool....i went and got myself an appointment with the principal.....we gonna get it on....big time. i have told colton....do not help others for now....use this time to study your math...if they tell you to help others....tell them you need to help your self first....if they have a problem...call me....and i will cuss them up and down....or come and handle it in person. this has all to with the schools rating im sure....cp can get by being marginal....but without his help or others the mexicans cant. he should be being taught instead of teaching....15 or 20 minutes...is a lot of teaching over the course of a year....that is being spent where he isnt learning. im tired of typing....be back tommorow...kev. |

My!My! such negative talk! I am proud to be an American even tho my ancestors were imigrants from Ireland and became American citizens,I`ll bet just about all the members

LOL.. Then wonder why they don't hire your boy to do the TEACHERS JOB... at the least.. as far as I know.. the TEACHERS and the School Administrators should NOT pass ANYone if they can't stay on the same level.... that sucks to know they are making the other kids do THEIR job.. Tell CP.. That was Very Kind of him to help them .. in my eyes at least.. even if he doesn't get the credit he deserves for helping someone not as Smart as he is..
Oh and the Mexican Military.? I'm guessing more along the lines of the MEXICAN MAFIA! LOL..
but.. who am I .. I wouldn't know the difference if it came right down to it.. because a general is a General no matter what war they are in..

but dont ask my son to help others with live help....and then tell him to study harder from the book...{you can do it}...with only book help...or me to help him.
fruck them....tell the mexicans to study harder....dont punish us for them being here...kev.

Well.. your son deserves more than a pat on the back if you ask me.. He must have a good heart and not to mention Very Smart if he's been able to actually Help them learn ..Science was always my favorite class too.. well .. until we had to cut up dead things.. then it was REALLLLLY FUN!!! LOL
