No correct answer yet! RogueTrader, I'm impressed how your judgement lead you to a result not very far from truth (+/-200grams)! (And you can be sure this was the LAST hint in this contest ) Adrian

I do not have any pet rockregards J. Click a Pic for full size image. How can You Knot have any pet rock, rockhounds cannot have too much pet rock, I definitely don't have enough, , But where you slipped up is Sandstone is lighter than agate at least I think this is agate any Ideas anyone? It's a very dark green with red streaks. Pet rock also takes a hell of a polish, Oh and Adrian 1390

Hey Rock... ya know the more I look at your pet rocks.. I couldn't help but ask you about your first pic I've rationed in my head over and over that it's just a branch.. but the more I look at it.. the more I see a pipe ... see it? or is it just me.. no.. can't be.. but what is that? .. sure looks like a native pipe.. petrified maybe? dunno but sure does have the exact shape of them from long ago.. .. anyways just had to comment on it.. lol
Great pics tho!

I knew you're gonna come back Tonja! Come on folks, keep up with her, one more week for reading/re-reading/making links/thinning the possibilities/deducting/guessing. Or maybe just for guessing. OK, let's make a small, quyick, "contest in contest". I will tell you that the last guess of Tonja (1398) - and some other guesses of some of you - are IMPOSSIBLE to be the right answers. The first one who posts why is that, has a 10 grams bonus for his/her guess. Come on, put your thinkin' caps on Adrian

I think this is an easy one. Because the difference between the unpolished and polished weights is 29g. 29 being an odd number. Any correct guess has to be an odd number.

Folks, Rogue Trader has a 10 grams bonus, which means his guess will be automatically considered 10 grams closer to the correct weight than it will be in fact. Congrats RogueTrader, yes an easy one but look back to see how many even numbers guesses you will find! Adrian

I'm going to have another try. I've checked out the photos again.
My calculation this time is 1185g
Bearing in mind that I have been calculating this and not just hazarding a guess.

I got the Knotty one in a box of birch and other bits from J2B2 on ebay, the green and the polished pieces were a total surprise I was after the picture jasper that came with it.
The Sandstone piece is from Texas there's another piece that came with it that's a fork in a branch in another box somewhere. the rest came in a box from Catmandew.
I have a very small piece that looks like a finger, was in with a lot of horn coral.
I haven't found anywhere locally where it's collectable.

None of you guessed the correct answer yet. There's still plenty of time 'till Friday! And now, that Jamie's contests ended, you may focus on this one. And here's a good reason to do it: If the winner will also guess the EXACT sum, a bonus prize will be added to the prize. It's this pendant, a local pet wood, groove wrapped (you can also see it in the wrapping section). So keep guessing, only this way the pendant might be YOURS! And, of course, don't forget to vote in KD's contest Adrian PS. Good luck, no hints/clues from now on, the contest will end on Friday unless of course one of you guesses the exact sum.
